Does anybody know the source of where this clip of the CG suit is from? Is it from one of extras on the limited edititon discs or something? I've got the 3D BluRay version and can't find it on there.

Yes, It's from the extras of the Man Of Steel bluray combo pack, called "Journey Of Discovery Creating Man Of Steel" .
