Took a week and a day off and still no news.

I feel like we're stuck in some kind of black hole of news.

    We're in limbo :csad:

I think Disney wanting to make a big spectacle out of the announcement is what's hurting us here lol.

Such a dry spell this week. Not just for Star Wars, but for film news in general, be it tentpole, genre, or indie.

If I was a betting man, I would bet that JJ's next film will be an adaptation of Valve's Half-Life after Star Wars.

Anyone watching any new sci-fi-ish shows?

I recently finished a rewatch of all of the old Star Trek DS9 and Voyager. For newer shows I watched all of Orphan Black and now am watching Continuum.

We just started watching Fringe a couple weeks ago. We're a few episodes into season 3. I like it.

Yeah Fringe is quite good. One of the few projects associated with Abrams that I liked since none of his movies left me particularly happy. It's a show that knew when to play up the drama and when to play up the more comedic aspects, especially with Walter. It's something that a certain other show (cough Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cough) could have learned something from, ratings be damned. I'm currently into Season 2 of Continuum right now, and that show just continues to get better. It doesn't really have any of the comedy of Fringe but it hits a similar spot.

Short film meant to accompany 'Empire Strikes Back' makes a comeback
'Star Wars' art director Roger Christian's 25-minute 'Black Angel,' which he thought had been lost, is found and restored and finally gets its North American premiere.

The great thing about never seeing most of the Battlestar Galactica reboot is that I can watch the rest of it for the first time.

I'm going through DS9 for the first time (in order at least). Really, really fantastic show. Unless they really screw something up, it will most likely replace TNG as my favorite Star Trek by the time I'm done with it.
