MoS and BvS both swing for the fences and completely whiff.

JL aims straight for the middle and, all things considered, isn’t too far off.

Mos was solid, maybe i feel strange with how superman characterized but it was solid film, it gave good foundation to mos sequel that we deserve (but never get).

Bvs was jumbled storytelling.

Jl was an easy simple plot, more like comic book storytelling than a solid movie, but message delivered.

So mos then jl then bvs.

In case no one has noticed, Superman is not Batman.

MoS had the most potential, but I think it got completely screwed up so I dislike it the most. Started strong, got lame and ended horribly.

As an overall movie and from the aspects of coherent story telling and pacing etc. MoS for sure but I judge movies by how they make me feel and I felt really good watching JL. So voting for JL here.

I cannot decide between MoS and BvS.

MoS is the pinnacle of epic action CB movies, Smallvile fight, Zod fight and the multilayered Metropolis Faora, Lane, Hardy, Hamilton/White, Lomabard, Jenny sequences + The world Engine vs Superman battle is the best action segment in any CBM to this date. Absolutely epic, breathtaking and so emotional. The moment when Kal gathers all his strengths to destroy TWE and launched towards it is the most powerful stuff ever, more so with that overwhelming superbly heroic Zimmer's music.

Plus I love Clark's story. Feels so genuine, I love the bus scene, the scene with bullies, the "The world's too big, Mom" scene... MoS is a CB movie I cry every time I'm watching it. And I love Kal's parents and Clark's parent, I love Zod and Faora, I love all those incredible designs in the movie, the Fight sequence,etc., etc., and that Zimmer's fantastic music. To me, MoS is pure delight.

BvS UE is just... it's completely another level. I've never seen movie like that, let alone CB movie. It's like some symbolistic shakespearean tragedy from ancient times with modern yet archetypal protagonists. It's one of the best films I've ever seen.

JL (theatrical cut) is a crippled sibling of the previous films. I find it very enjoyable in its own way but it's just nowhere near the awesomeness of MoS and BvS.

For me MOS and SvB: UE are tied for number 1. They were both excellent movies to me. I think Justice League could've been god as well if it wasn't tampered with so much. So I can't really rate that movie. Hopefully we'll get an UE of that movie as well then maybe I would feel different about the movie. But I do think it was a good movie but just incomplete.

Agreed. Honestly in time I think SvB: UE will be looked upon more favorable then it is now.

It definitely will be. BvS UE was essentially, as actor Jay Baruchel said, "the most expensive arthouse movie of all time." It wasn't designed with mass audiences in mind, its a brooding political drama and yet, it has some of the coolest comic book moments I've EVER seen on cinema. Batman's warehouse sequence and Gal Gadot's EPIC entrance as Wonder Woman are worth the price of admission alone. The Knightmare sequence, as jarring as it is, is also an incredibly directed, visually spectacular sequence as well.

As a Superman fan I never felt i got Superman until Justice League. MOS, though a good movie on it's own, is a terrible Superman film IMO. BVS was even worse as a film featuring Superman. As films on their own, I like them, but as Superhero films featuring Superman, they blow chunks. In terms of complete entertainment, which is all I want when I see a Superhero film my list goes:

1.Justice League
2.MOS
3.BVS
