I found Katie Holmes just as annoying as Maggie Gyllenhaal.

I think Nolan fumbled the casting for females except for Catwoman.

Awww come on man, that's mean. My disdain for the Rachel character had nothing to do with Maggie's looks. Though I can understand why some people don't find her attractive. I've had a thing for her ever since Secretary but that still didn't stop me from finding her annoying in TDK.

I don't know, maybe she looks a lot better dolled up but I just don't find her large droopy eyes and bull dog cheeks attractive. The one scene that gets me in a bad way is when she says to Bruce, "what are you doing?!" when he's got Harvey in the sleeper hold.

Since so many of you guys hate Rachel Dawes, I have to ask... am I the only one who cracked up laughing when she blew up mid-sentence in TDK? I couldn't help it... it was like Nolan suddenly realized just how annoying the character was and was like "SHUT UP AND DIE ALREADY!!!"

As far as I'm concerned it was the lone bright spot in that otherwise terrible movie.

I think he fumbled that character from the point of creating her in the first place.

I'm not a fan of Batman having long-term love interest.

His obsession with fighting crime should make him a hit and run kind of guy, mainly with female super-villains.

Wait a minute, how were these two a-holes not included on the poll? They make Jar Jar look like Peter Venkman.

I don't mind him having one. Every notable superhero has at least one.

The writing is what made the characters terrible, not the casting. It was not the casting that made Rachel Dawes slap Bruce twice. It was not the casting that made her say 'thats right you better run'. It was not the casting that made Talia die like Yoda. Not to mention, it was not the casting that made Catwoman kick butt and kill Bane. What Im saying is that what a character do and the words she say will still be the same no matter if they cast Cate Blanchett or Jessica Alba(or should I say Marion Cotillard or Katie Holmes).

The poll is asking who the most annoying movie character is, so she must be annoying.

Seriously, I question the decency of anybody who watches that movie and finds Wendy Torrnce annoying.

I can't think of a character that annoyed me more than that damn shrieking barmaid in the invisible man.

I'll go on record and say that Tea Leoni's character in Jurassic Park III was more annoying than Willie Scott in Temple of Doom.

The Rachel Dawes character was anyway pointless, but I thought Katie Holmes did the best she could and came off as a fairly likable character.

Gyllenhaal's version, on the other hand...ugh. I wouldn't care about her looks being average if she had a strong character or a memorable performance to compensate, but there's just nothing there. Her connection to Bruce is tenuous (she already put him in the friend zone without dating him once and has already secured a much more stable rebound, but Bruce still has the hots for her because...reasons), and she's not written with much of a personality, so the only thing left to focus on is that awful cracking voice that makes all of her "taking a stand" moments come off like a teenager arguing with her parents.

It's not the level of annoyance, it's that there's nothing to her but the annoyance.

Tea was annoying but Willie was more so to me since she just complained so much, she was the little princess in the real world and her screaming got annoying whereas Tea wasn't much different from the others as she was scared and concerned for her Son.
