Avatar: Fire and Ash. If I see any movie in the theaters next year it likely will be this. No one does spectacles like James Cameron
Mickey 17 looks interesting
Zootopia 2. The first one is one of my favorite Disney animated movies
I hope either The Monkey or The Running Man will be worth seeing, but when it comes to King-adaptations it's safest to have low expectations. :)
Even if I feel a bit fed up with all these superhero-movies I hope we finally can get a good FF-movie

I haven't looked at all the 2025 releases, but off the top of my head, and in no particular order, Ballerina, Megan 2.0, and Predator: Badlands. My only interest in the Superman film is any other characters it might introduce for the DCU.

I've pretty much checked out of Hollywood for now. Very little that's announced really interests me. I haven't been to the movie theatre since The Flash. Over the last few months my watching has been about 80% European cinema, especially that from the 70s/80s, and I'm loving it. Hollywood's gonna have to win me back, and I don't see that happening any time soon. As for the current crop of 'stars', there isn't a single actor that would make me pay to watch a film just to see them, unlike in the past (e.g. Oliver Reed, John Hurt, Christopher Lee). Even people like Michael Keaton and Michael Fassbender (probably my two favourites acting right now), as fantastic as they are, would have to be in a film where the subject matter really grabbed me. The only film on the horizon that I'm really excited for is The Batman Part II.

1. Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning
2. Captain America: Brave New World
3. Fantastic Four: First Steps
4. Thunderbolts*
5. The Amateur
6. Superman Legacy
7. Predator: Badlands
8. Jurassic World: Rebirth
9. Avatar: Fire & Ash
10. F1

I'm curious to see what the Running Man looks like, and I've got fingers crossed for Ballerina.

Saw one of these 'Lists' online today.
28 years later was 10, Superman was 9.
Cap 4 was number 1.
Each to their own, but I highly doubt that is the most anticipated film of the year.

Mickey 17
The Battle of Baktan Cross
Bugonia
Superman
Eddington
Frankenstein
Marty Supreme
The Smashing Machine

There are so many, but Avatar: Fire and Ash is a special one because nothing looks or feels like an Avatar film in 3D premium format. It's like a rollercoaster ride, and I'm so very much looking forward to doing it again.
