See what I did there with the 12's? :woot:..........*Crickets* Ok, onwards!

The 12 I'm most looking forward to!

1. The Dark Knight Rises
2. Total Recall
3. The Avengers
4. Skyfall
5. Snow White & The Hunstman
6. Prometheus
7. The Hobbit
8. This Means War
9. G.I. Joe 2
10. John Carter
11. The Expendables
12. Rise of the Guardians

1. The Dark Knight Rises
2. The Hobbit
3. The Avengers

Everything else is gravy. That's not to say I'm not exited about a new Bond flick or a new Alien flick, but those three are life long dreams-come-true. I still have to pinch myself that I'm going to live through seeing those movies come to fruition, all within 12 short months. That other potentially cool/awesome stuff is coming out is more than I could ever ask for.

Screw you, Mayan-calendar-doomsday-believers. 2012 may very well rival 1982 for sheer badassery of genre cinema.

Prometheus
The Dark Knight Rises
The Hobbit
Frankenweenie
Skyfall
Django

Based on Wikipedia's page for 2012 in film, these are the only movie that I have any interest in this year. Maybe something else will catch my eye later, but for now this is it.

1) Prometheus. Ridley Scott is still best of the beards in my eyes.
2) Cloud Atlas. The novel is a modern masterpeice and I'm a huge Wachowski mark.
3) Universal Soldier 4. Look up the behind the scenes photos. It looks bat**** insane.
4) M.S. One. Guy Pearce plays Shane Black. In space.
5) Django Unchained. Hopefully it's on par with Inglourious Basterds
6) G.I. Joe 2. A Rock, Bruce Willis and Snake Eyes men on a mission movie.
7) Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. MEGA-Cage.
8) Haywire. Since there's an abundance of B-movie action I'm more interested in Ewan McGreggor and Michael Fassbender acting opposite each other in this one.
9) Safe/Parker. Jason Statham provides me with the no frills JCVD/Steven Seagal films of my childhood.
10) Bullet to the Head. Fingers are crossed for an Extreme Prejudice level finale.
11) Hunter Killer. SEALs vs Russian ultranationalists and I really dig Antoine Fuqua.
12) Gravity. Because I so dearly loved Children of Men anything Alfonso Cuaron is a must watch for me. Except whatever Harry Potter films he made. Because **** Harry Potter.
13) Dragon Eyes. Because John Hyams will go down in history as the best action director ever.
14) Ted. Because, God forgive me, I like Seth MacFarlane's brand of comedy.
