I was initially going to post a favorite poll but I thought it would be much more interesting to see which of these flicks people enjoy least. For me the biggest disappointment out of the ones I have seen was tough as it was a near tie between Gotham Knight and Superman vs. The Elite but I had to go with The Elite because for me the character designs really let down a great story.

I would say "Justice League: Doom" or "Green Lantern: Emerald Knights", where they feel more like rushed, cheaper follow-ups. I also don't like the recent 'anime' style that just feel more mass-produced/less distinct. With this recent style being more prominent, I find my interest waning in these animated movies.

Crisis was awful.

Batman: Year One was disappointing but it could never be as bad as a motion comic. Those are just terrible.

All-Star Superman for me. Just because that's my favorite superhero comic ever, and there was no possible way to do it justice with that kind of run-time. Thus, the result was kind of a hatchet job. I also hated Denton's Superman.

Same. I actually thought the movie was decent but it just doesn't hold a candle to the comic.

Gotham Knights for me. I thought it was rubbish but I did enjoy the Deadshot short.

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, it just didn't quite mesh together very well and Andre Braugher's awful as Darkseid. The endings really poorly done too, if they wanted Supergirl to be the lead then they should have reinvented the story.

But I've at least liked them all, there hasn't been one I've thought was awful.

I think Gotham Knights was a good atempt, unlike with Marvel Anime the result was very satisfying, there were certain designs i didn't like, the Deadshot bit for example, but the animation and plot makes up for the rest.

For me the most disapointing were Al-Star, and Justice League Doom. I never read "what's so funny about truth, justice and the american way?" but i enjoyed Superman vs the Elite.

The ending for Doom was unforgiveable. You can't have Batman's plans take out the JL and then not deal with the consequences, you can't.

I agree about motion comics. I tried watching the Astonishing X-Men one because I loved the series, but I just couldn't do it.

I voted Emerald Knights. I haven't seen all of the movies by any means, but I REALLY wanted to love that one as a GL fan (and Nathan Fillion fan), but it just didn't do it for me the way I thought it would.

Gotham Knight sucked.

After that there are just a few mediocre ones.

Still better than most the Marvel animated shows and flicks though, with the possible exception of maybe Ultimate Avengers beating out DC's most mediocre animated feature.

Apocalypse takes a bunch of stuff I should like and throws it in front of me in a big thankless boring sugarless oatmeal. Was the 2k origin of Supergirl really that much of a milquetoast cameofest?

The comic it was based on was greatly helped by Michael Turner's art. It feels more like a horror story, when Kara is on Apokolips. And the ending in the comic is not as drawn-out as it is in the movie, which gets repetitive with its battles.

Yeah I gave Astonishing a try a long time ago and I was laughing my ass off within about 30 seconds of it starting. So bad.

I agree. Marvel might have more game with live action but DC is much better with animation by far. The only Marvel animated flick I've seen that I enjoyed was Planet Hulk but not nearly enough to ever watch it again and its much weaker than most of DC's movies.

Hulk Vs was also good

I haven't seen all on the list, but I agree with your two.

JL: Doom completely depressed me: it was derived extremely loosely from the Morrison JL arc (Tower of Babel) and it sucked every bit of horror/suspense out of it.

Wally and Kyle being substituted for Barry & Hal didn't bother me, but I don't think Batman really came up with a workable plan to take any of the JL out. My god, what Batman planned to do to MM (in case of emergency) was just sick in "Babel".

Emerald Knights was just bad no matter what you know of the characters.

Hulk vs Thor wasn't all that but Hulk vs Wolverine was awesome

As a Thor fan I didn't like the mismatch of strength but I still enjoyed the animated feature overall.

I'd take the Nolan Trilogy and Mos over any Marvel movie easily so I don't think they have more game live action. They have more movies but none of them hold a candle to those 4.

Year One is easily my least favorite. Superman Unbound is second.
