In 2012, I applied for a job at a supermarket. They called me in for an interview. I was very shy, and also disheveled from having walked so far to get there.

The next day I called in, and they'd already tossed out my application.

But sometimes I shop at the same place. Their customer service is horrible. You have to go on an epic journey throughout the store to find any help, and when you do, the employees seem all stoned.

I was so nervous on an interview once that i actually said "I'm never on time" when i really meant to say "I'm always on time". The response from the interviewer was

Granted..i didn't get a call back.
