who do you think is the most powerful villain from smallville , i will say zod because in all the smallville episodes i have seen no have ever beaten clark like the way he did

The exploding baby....by far the most powerfull.:ninja:

The schizo cop from lockdown

Braniac...he was the most kickass villian...thanks to James Marsters' performance:up:

we severly need a three-way fight between clark, brainiac and ZOD...and don't say episode one was the end of ZOD. I REFUSE to believe it...seriously, they spent the ENTIRE 5th season setting up ZOD, what a let down ending of a great villain that they spent so much time setting up. He didn't even fight Clark that much in that episode. I loved the episode, but seriously, they need him to come back.

I don't think Zod will come back -- I think they regretted the "Zod possession" story arc, and wanted to move in a different direction -- bringing in new cast members (like green arrow) and furthering Clark's move to become Superman without having a corny possession arc.

I thought the possesion arc was very stupid. I would have liked to have a separate ZOD character.

Scratch that, I think the handshake guy has it.

They blew it with Braniac, James Marsters is the man and should have been treated with much more respect and care by the writers of the show. It's a damn shame.

It depends on what you mean by powerful. Zod has the same powers as Clark, Fallon(the cop from Season 1) knew of Clarks and Nixon knew of pretty much everything Clark knew, didn't Fallon nearly reduce Johathon to tears. Lionel Luthor had a massive wealth and geniuely scared everybody because they knew he was basically untouchable. Remember the average Smallvile villian is defeated within one show, Lionel was ther for 3 seasosn before he got caught

Lex is the most powerful villain. He is still there and has Clark's girl :p

Would you think of Lex as a villian yet. He hasn't done anything all that wrong yet has he?

Yeah, but Clark still "won" in the end, which makes Clark the most powerful.

Given episodes like Transference or even Exile, one could argue *Clark* is the most powerful "villain" in SV. LOL

(Don't take this question to K-Site 'cause they WILL argue that. Relentlessly. ;) )

Lex has done things that make him a villain, whether the other characters know it or not... We the viewers know. Which makes him a villain.

It's a sad bunch over here that only make remarks when I have something negative about the show... If I say something positive it goes ignored. Must be like "DAMN! I can't say he's trolling. I will go cry"

Tina Grier was the most powerful. They shouldn't have killed her off.

But if Clark knew then what he does now would it still have ended the same . . . . .

Zod has been the most powerful so far but that's because Lex and Lionel are the only recurring threats on the show.

Hehehe....

Wait...

Huh?

LOL

Brainiac. He came across as the most deadliest villain ever. He created the computer virus that lead to Dark Thursday, nearly killed Lois and Martha, and tricked Clark into freeing Zod. And he nearly freed him the first time around until Chloe showed up.

he could have gotten away with it weren't for the meddling kids.
