Pretty much what the title says.

A few of my own:

1) Ridley Scott directing an adaptation of Metroid. Considering that the guys who made Metroid said they were heavily inspired by Alien, whom better to direct it than the man who made Alien himself?

2) A James Bond film starring Michael Fassbender as James Bond and Haley Atwell as the next Bond girl, directed by Matthew Vaughn, edited by Lee Smith, cinematography by Roger Deakins and score by Michael Giacchino.

3) An adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist with effects done by Weta.

An adaption of Farenheit 451 starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, or Tom Hanks.
Another animated Rescuers movie made by Disney.
A faithful adaption of the Star Wars Thrawn Trilogy

1) A faithful Gears of War. Not sure on director. Scored by Slash of GnR
2) A Wally West Flash movie
3) Crash by Jerry Spinelli done by Cameron Crowe
4) A new movie on David from the Bible

Yes. :up::up::up::up::up:

Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Would be awesome to see if they didn't totally screw it up.

As much as I love the Sky One Pratchett adaptations but a big budget version of the Discworld novels would be great.

Oh, and an adaptation of Maniac Mansion would be nice too

Alien vs Predator!
X-Men
World of Warcraft
Starcraft

many more

- Mighty Max
- Pirates of Dark Water
- Gargoyles
- ReBoot
- MASK

- A stop motion 'Enormous Crocodile' by Roald Dahl directed by Henry Selick.

- 'The Twits' by Roald Dahl directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp and Helenda Bonham Carter as Mr and Mrs.Twit.

- Monkey Island starring Zach Braff as Guybrush and Tim Curry as Le Chuck.

- (The obligatory) Legend of Zelda directed by Alfonso Cuaron or Edgar Wright starring Jamie Bell as Link. Based on Ocarina of Time but specifically the feature of Link retreiving the Master Sword and being lost in time for 7 years. Jamie Bell is still just about the right age to play a teen and young adult Link. Probably get flamed for this but Dwayne Johnson or Craig T. Nelson as Ganondorf. Keeping the Hyrule theme, Eponas song and Zeldas lullaby as they are.

My obligatory is just Half-Life, it has a great story that a movie can even work better, Valve is interested but want to make it their oun way, and it some times reminds me of Fringe because of the sci fy and different dimensions

I can totally dig Fassbender taking over as Bond after Craig.

So, adaptations...

No1 choice has gotta be Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian.

Neil Gaiman's Sandman and Mike Carey's Lucifer would also be awesome.

I think Dead Space could work great as a film, as long as it is done accurately and not butchered like the Resident Evil films and the Doom film.

Dead Space would definitely be good, if it was done as an 18/R rated sci-fi/horror..... But i guess they would want to get it down to a 15 (or american equivilent) to reach a bigger audience/more money.

Isn't D.J Caruso suppose to be working on an adaptation?

Not sure. And yea if it was done it'd have to be along the lines of Alien. Not neutering the content.

I don't mind live-action or animated, but with superhero films, I'd really like them to be live-action.

Fantasy, live-action or animated.
If animated, I'd like them to be by Walt Disney Animation Studios or Pixar Animation Studios.
Animated superhero films ideally by their animated studios...although now, I hope Disney can add quality animation to Marvel's films, because DC's animated films are vastly superior (in terms of animation at least). Anyway, mine for now

The Flash (one of my favourite DC superheroes)
Captain Marvel, AKA SHAZAM (again, another of my faves)
Don't think there's any point in listing the rest of The Chronicles of Narnia, as they're all very likely to be made at one point or another...but technically I just did lol.
Disney's take (live-action or animated) on Hansel & Gretel, I LOVE that story. I'm pretty sure I saw one when I was younger, and I enjoyed it, but with the technology these days...well...lol. Also their versions of The Snow Queen, Goldilocks & The 3 bears, and Rumpelstiltskin.

I feel with Goldilocks, people may think it's another Tangled :whatever:
Yeah, I'm a Disney fan :yay:

Been waiting for these as well, rumours were saying Disney were going to make a Gargoyles live action film (Google "Disney Gargoyles project" ) :yay:
Since that ReBoot teaser, I've heard nothing. Don't think it's happening

Yeah but it's not based on the tv show. It's a seperate, probably very twylight-esque, Gargoyle love story, from what has being said about it.

Damn. When I first heard of it, it was meant to be similar to the animated series.
Not too sure I like the sounds of that.
IF it does develop though, I'll still give it a watch.
But that's kinda made me doubtful

Moby-Dick: Directed by David Fincher, starring Ed Harris as Ahab.
Halo: Directed by Alfonso Cuaron.

Mobile Suit Gundam: the one year war

Biomega

Guyver: done right :o

hmmm I'll think of some more!

Adaptations of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time books and a Wally West Flash movie. Those are the two things I have been waiting for.

The Forever War, directed by Ridley Scott.
It is one of the many films on his upcoming slate but nothing has been happening with it for a while now. Hopefully Prometheus inspires him to continue with science fiction and bring The Forever War to the screen sooner rather than later.

Another project that I really want to see get made is Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein.
