You know what they are. Moments that are cliche in movies like Bad guys coming back from the dead, bad guys being incredibly bad shots, etc.

I am a sucker for a climatic battle in the rain like in The Two Towers and Matrix Revolutions. Although those films were the weakest in their series I love when the hero and villain fight while rain pours down

Also, Mexican standoffs. I think theyre great

I've enjoy it when the hero throw his gun at a bad guy after running out of bullets

Old Wrestern Gun battles in modern day (ex: Punisher 2004)

I thought that Two Towers was the best of the franchise...

Anyway to answer the question I like when the good guy comes back in a fight after the bad guy says something mean to energize him...funny enough I also kinda of hate that cliche too.

Same.

I know that the Spider-Man trilogy gets a lot of heat for this, but I like it when the love interest is in danger. It adds to the drama of the scene.

I didn't have much of a problem with it the first two times. *shrugs*

I like when the stupid girl or the a-hole guy that nobody likes dies in a horror movie

I thought it was the best one too. The last battle destroys the battle in the third film. Plus, Gollum's CGI looks better here than in Return of the King. (In my opinion)

I don't mind cliches if they are done in a new and interesting way.

unrelated but.. Brotherhood of the Ring is the weakest of the trilogy.. to me, of course :meanie:

favorite Cliche?

Killing the bad guy by blowing him up. Yeah, it's over the top, but impalement always leaves stuff open for a come back.

I don't mind the slow motion group shot.

Big boobed girl running from a killer, falling down, getting up, going in the wrong direction, missing the oppertunity to get away and then being killed while screaming.

I love that cliche.

I think every movie should have the line "I live my life a quarter mile at a time" in it until it becomes less stupid and more cliche

Agreed on all accounts.

I do love all three though.

Daisy Werthen: Slow down Hoke, the grocery store isn't going anywhere.

Hoke Colburn: I sho' can't do it Miss Daisy. Ya' see, I live my life a quarter mile at a time and I'm sho' you don't have many years left you old bat.

hahahaha, that movie sounds so much better now with that line in there

happy endings/heroes overcoming impossible odds to the save the day

When the hot foreign chick takes her top off. :hehe:

I haven't seen that one before. :o

i like the cliche fights in rain. wet is better he he

I always get a kick out of when animals attack a person in a comedy. I always laugh my arse off. newest example T-Rex V.S. Farrell. Fricken Gold!

I have a hard time separating stuff that are cliché with stuff that just makes me go "Oh, that's classic." So I'm sure there's plenty of times when I end up liking something that others perceive as a cliché.

the hero rescues the girl at the last minute....:woot::woot:

I love when the villian is outsmarted by the hero when it comes to his own gadgets. Kind of how Goblin was done in at the end of Spider-Man.
