Movie Kids who shouldn't be rescued?

Yahoo! Movies posted a short clip of movie kids they think shouldn't be rescued.

The humor escapes me.

I can see the narrative opportunity of kids dying on screen. They died in horror films like Piranha 3DD and Mimic. Should've have died near the end of Cujo and also during the movie The Relic. Kick Ass 2 should've used the moment in the comic where Chris shot up a bunch of kids who were playing in their backyard. That would elevated his villainy.

That clip above chose the wrong kids. If you want your kids to shut up, then be a jerk and just smack them.

Meh, pretty bland list.

Plus most Jurassic Park kids don't need to be rescued anyway since they're pretty much superhuman to begin with - Tim Murphy with his ability to survive thousands of volts of electricity, Lex Murphy and her super-computer-hacker skills, Kelly Malcolm with her anti-velociraptor gymnastic prowess, Eric Kirby and his survivalist skills that manage to be effective against an island teeming with Heaven-only-knows how many different kinds of carnivores. It's a far cry from when Alex Kintner got chomped on his float.
