Here is an interesting fact: Did anyone know that Hans Zimmer did the synthesizing for Batman:Mask of the Phantasom?

If they go that line, I hope it will not be as ridiculous as the Sandman theme, something catastrophic that deserved a good laugh when we see many shots of him striking as the sandstorm during the Spider-Man Day, which was quite stupid on his own. Well, you get the picture. Since they are two to compose, one can suggest ways to the other to fix some ugly things. They will rock again I hope! Please Mr. Zimmer, try to show us that you are more creative then in POTC 3!!!!!

I've been looking for the link, but I read in an interview with Zimmer that Batman, as of the end of BB, had not yet "earned" his theme yet- adding that the full character of batman has yet to develop. I would really like to see a new definative batman theme come of this (although I did love the old one) that coicides with the underlying elements established in BB.

They really took that exact idea from BB and put it in Casino Royale.

His Pirates 3 score was the most creative of the trilogy, and if we get anything as good as it, that would be fantastic.

I totally agree, I heard samples from POTC 3 soundtrack and if we get something that similar for TDK, I love it more than BB.

Ditto to that. PotC:AWE was an excellent soundtrack. The themes really fleshed out more with each film.

i have to say the opening to Batman Begins with the silver WB sign was one of the best openings to a Batman film, probably comic film. The music in that bit was amazing. Care to agree.

A grim one I think. Since Nolan has stated on several occasions that TDK will be a grim film, it would make sense that he would request suited music from the composers.

And ofcourse some really heroic new Batman theme. I'm hoping for a chills-down-spine sort of thing. A ''**** YEAH!'' will do aswell.

I just hope you folks dont forget James Newton Howards contributions ot t the BB score, all I hear o nthe boards as of late is Zimmer, but I guarantee that it was their collaboration that made the music rock. Howards work on Unbreakable is still one of the best out there....

I think Joker's theme should be primarily played on a piano around the C5 level (high-pitch). That could be very creepy.
