Eddie Murphy sang 'Party all the Time'! :wow: Not strictly movie related but mind-blowing to me all the same.

Hey man that song was actually pretty good, well I'm an 80's kid so I remember it well.

don cheadle plays the chinese black guy in rush hour 2

I'm sure this has been brought up in one of these threads before, but Ioan Gruffudd was in Titanic.

In The Phantom Menace, the three-way fight between Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Darth Maul, is the only lightsaber battle in the Star Wars films with no spoken dialogue between the combatants.

A New Hope: Vader and old Obi-Wan talk
The Empire Strikes Back: Vader and Luke talk
Return of the Jedi: Vader and Luke talk again

Attack of the Clones: Obi-Wan and Anakin talk with Dooku
Revenge of the Sith: More chat between Anakin and Dooku, Mace and Palpatine, and then Obi-Wan and Anakin.

The Phantom Menace: No conversation in the encounters with Maul.

This is because Qui-Gonn and Obi-Wan know that Maul has the gift of the gab, and from previous encounters with him going one to one verbally, they have been soundly beaten into submission.

but, yes, sometimes Maul puts them on his ignore list because he gets fed up with them slagging him off from afar, because they are not man enough to take him on one to one in the verbal battles. haha

Is the Duel of Fates the only duel that isn't intercut with some other characters and their action?

I asked my friend which was his favorite duel yesterday and he said it was the one Luke had in the vision cave. His reasoning was that it gave Luke more personality.

The Duel of Fates is intercut with Anakin flying around above Naboo and Jar Jar playing with the Droid Army.

That is if The Duel of Fates is the fight I'm thinking of.

Yes you are. Also I think it is the song itself that's called Duel of the Fates and that plays during the Obi/Ani duel as well. I remember reading rumors that their duel was gonna be over 10 min long and was not gonna be intercut with something else. A shame that wasn't true.

^ What little of it there was, the rematch between Anakin and Dooku in Revenge isn't intercut, neither are the fights with Grievous.

Only the end movie duels are intercut with other battle scenes.

Kevin Corrigan (Professor Professorson from "Community") played Henry's brother in Goodfellas.

he's also one of the hit men (the other being craig robinson) in Pineapple express.

Speaking of professors, Prof. Moriarty is the son of Prof. Dumbledore.

And by that I mean Jared Harris is the son of Richard Harris.

In Iron Man 2 when Hammer and Vanko meet for the first time, Hammer's hands are UNBELIEVABLY dirty.
Seriously, there's so much fake tan on them they look practically radioactive.

Lol, that was Sam Rockwell's idea to add to his fakeness, but someone didn't go for it so it didn't carry on throughout the movie. I think it was a funny touch.

The girl Ryan Phillipe punches at the beginning of Way of the Gun is played by Sarah Silverman.

Jake Gillenhal...(however it's spelt)..... has been the on screen lover of both Joker and Catwoman

I hadn't seen G.I.Joe Rise Of Cobra in a long time that I didn't know Channing Tatum as Duke has a tiny scar just like classic Joe.

watched Bicentennial Man last night
Embeth Davz played both "Little Miss" Amanda, aswell as her great granddaughter portia

i always thought they looked similar but didn't realise they were played by the same actress
