The horrible Alan Parson Project music from Ladyhawke has grown on me over the years. :o

CGI.
I dunno why but i really like it as have been following the devopment of CGI in movies more closely lately

Memento is one of those few movies that, the more I watch it, the more I love it.

I'd say most zombie movies have grown on me. I always wonder how I'd survive in a state like that. Thus, leading onto conversations, about how I'd save my woman in that situation.

She said it'd never happen, but damn it, I'm prepared :cmad:

And personally, I'd love to make a zombie movie.

Alien Versus Predator I used to hate. I watched again recently and it's okay. Not good by any means but not a fair target for all my previous criticism.

Most of all, Troy. First time I saw it, I fell asleep. Now I absolutely love it.

The Village grew on me big time

The first time I saw 25th Hour I didn't like it, I expected something completely different. I love it now, it's quite brilliant.
And at first I didn't like Goodfellas, it's one of my favorites now.
And first I didn't like The Big Lebowski, now I think it's one of the best comedies of all time.

The Hulk. When I first saw it I was 12, so I nearly fell asleep. Watched it on USA one da, now enjoy it and appreciate it.

Car chases. I used to think they were the most boring forms of action. I still do, but I don't particularly hate watching them anymore.

I fell asleep during Troy as well. Maybe I should watch it again some day.

color filters on the camera. didn't like it at first, probably just because matrix was so over hyped that i grew to dislike everything about it, but now i like the affect it brings

There's a few movies that I didn't think were anything special the first time I watched them, but after repeated viewings grew to be some of my favourite movies of all time. Mostly, my three favourite comedies:

The Big Lebowski
Dr. Strangelove or How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
Anchorman

All three of these I had heard from very good friends were basically, "the funniest movie ever." One by one I saw them, with each respective friend or group friends. I nearly dozed off in all three of them, hardly laughed, found parts of them either stupid or completely unfunny. And yet something compelled me to seek them out, time after time, and now they are without a doubt my three favourite comedies, and definately in my top 10. Absolutely hilarious.

Fight Club was on UK TV last night and I watched again.

Hated in the cinema but enjoyed greatly this time around.

I thought Goodfellas was average when I first saw it. I warmed up to it and it's now my second favorite movie of all time.

Car chases. I used to think they were the most boring forms of action. I still do, but I don't particularly hate watching them anymore.

I'm not a fan of car chases either, but there have been some really great ones out there (The Matrix Reloaded, Death Proof).

The first time I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), I thought it was boring, but after watching it again on Cinemax, I actually enjoyed it more.

So did Carmine Falcone, and he's probably the film's biggest fan here.

I was tired and sick when I first saw it, and I fell asleep during a few of the good parts. I love it now.

Wowzer, I have a couple of examples.
Well, here are some...

- Superman Returns. When I first saw this movie in the theater, damn, did I think that it sucked. I then bought it on DVD. Now, I absolutely love the film, and I hail it as one of the best superhero films of all-time.
- Ocean's Twelve. I never caught this in the theater. One of my friends said that this movie was terrible, also. I bought this film on DVD when it first came out, and man, I thought it was terrible, because it wasn't like the first one, at all. Only before I was about to see Ocean's Thirteen did I think about watching Twelve again. Maybe it's because I drastically matured as a movie goer/critic after summer 2006, but I couldn't believe why I (or many people) thought it was bad. The movie was a pretty good movie. It wasn't like the first or third, but it was different. I learned that I can't just judge a movie based on it's predecessor, but I have to judge it on what it is, all bias aside.

So you like to buy movies you hate or haven't seen?

Yeah, that movie has grown on me as well. :o :o :o :o :o :o

See, I don't understand why people don't like giving it credit. I always liked the Hulk movie, and my friends always made fun of me for that, but really its not a bad movie. Its just not what a Hulk movie should be.

I gotta be honest but...I gotta say Batman Begins.:o It wasn't that I thought it was a bad movie, but when I first saw it I was underwhelmed a bit. It was probably because I had hyped myself up for it so much, but the more I watch now, the more I really geek out over it and really just enjoy it.

So you like to buy movies you hate or haven't seen?

Actually, I only bought Superman Returns for the sole reason to watch the scene when Superman recharges in the sky. I always thought that it was one of the best movie scenes I've ever seen.

...yeah, I know. I bought the DVD for one scene, but that goes to show that everything happens for a reason. As for Ocean's Twelve, I gave that the benefit of the doubt. I assumed that it'd be very good, just like alot of DVD's that I have buy. I'm always right when I buy a DVD, too.
