So the thread title is simple and i am sure you all understand it.

I hate hate the movies TOP GUN and INDEPENDENCE DAY.
I think Top Gun is the worst most popular movie ever made. If the hottest chick at the bar came on to me and asked me what my favorite movie was and I said, "You first." And she says Top Gun. I would take the drink I bought for her and walk away.

Donnie Darko. Overrated pretentious crap.
Requiem for a Dream. I didn't feel for the characters so the whole movie was rendered moot.
1900. Four hours of nothing.

The Godfather.

*muhahahahahahah*

suck it elitists suck it non-conformity just ***** slapped you.

10 Things I Hate about You. Garbage, nonsense.

Bad Boys 2 was SH**!

People loved those films?

Didn't Bad Boys 2 make a lot of money? My friends all own it on DVD, too.

10 things is on T.V. like once a weekend so I figured people like it. And ask any girl, they probably love it.

And Evelisse, I hate that movie so much.

I wouldnt say I hate them, but I generally dont like any of what Stanley Kubrick has done. I think people love his films because he is an "artist," but I just find him to be a big weirdo creep.

I hate you!

Just kidding, I have to disagree with you there. I love almost all his movies.

Okay, well I like Independence Day, so lets call it even. ;)

Donnie Darko
Alien 3 Director's Cut (& Alien 3 period)

The English Patient. I was :applaud when Seinfeld did the episode about Elaine being bored to tears by it

Citizen Kane. Sure, the way it was filmed was ingenius, and it defined the way movies are made. But the plot was boring and pretentious.

True.
Plus, save for a group of films, most movies made before 1970 dont really do anything for me.

Independence Day
Godzilla (1998)
Transformers (2007)
Bad Boys II
Halloween (2007)
Shrek 2

citizen kane...uber bore!
casablanca... interesting characters boring plot.
casino... my number 1 most boring movie of all time...

i stoped watching the aviator

A Clockwork Orange.
People LOVE this movie, but I'm way too big of a fan of the book to enjoy Kubrick's adaptation.

Both 2001 and Full Metal Jacket was just bleh for me. They are both technically GOOD films, but, neither of them really did anything for me.

And Gone With The Wind. *retch*

I'm not sure if this counts as a movie that people "love", but I know that, for some reason, people went absolutely ape-**** over it when it first came out:

Napoleon Dynamite

Just about everytime I so much as think about that awful, awful movie, I get the urge to beat the life out of something. The movie was just a turd-sandwich. I swear, if I ever see Jon Heder on the street, I'm gonna spin kick him for releasing such terribleness onto the rest of the world.

I wont say I hate but I was really let down by: Scarface, The Godfather, and The Exorcist. I'm tried watching these back when I was about 18 (27 now) and I didn't like any of them.
