Where to begin...

The Matrix trilogy
Napolean Dynamite/Nacho Libre
LOTR
Transformers
ANY ryan reynolds movie
Star Wars Episode I
X-Men 3
The Blade movies
Epic Movie, all of the Scary Movies, Date Movie, etc

ANY movie where people get "served" or "step up"
Fight Club
ANY PG-13 rated "horror" movie from the past decade

...that's all I think of right now...:cmad:

Why Fight Club?

Im just curious because I too love cinema and that movie in particular influenced me.

My taste in movies has changed due to it, and I respect film as an art form. I mean, I saw your other list of movies that you like and they're infact good. I'm just wondering why Fight Club?

He's a troll. He puts on movies just to get a reaction.

oh, and dungeons and dragons!!!! fuuuck that!!!!!

The only ones I can really think of off the top of my head are the Matrix sequels. I say this not only because I really disliked them, but also because the taste those movies left in my mouth kind of tarnishes my view of the original film, which is amazing and by itself would probably be one of my favorites. However, whenever I think of it, I think of the unnecessary and pretentious sequels.

No. I'm just honest. I don't like Fight Club because there are several conflincting ideas in it. Brad Pitt and Ed Norton also come off as whiny juvenile teenagers at times too. Also, how is it that one man starts a brutal "rennaisannce of machismo" by beating himself up in a parking lot? I've seen a homeless bum beating himself up once and it didn't make me want to forsake my consumer goods. The film also tries to act too cool for its own good. And how is Ed Norton's character rid of Tyler by shooting through his cheek?

This is interesting thread. I respect your opinion and all, but the topic of 'movies you wish never ever made' is probably more personal than say 'movies that you didn't like'.

I guess it just deals with the time and space continuum, and the Butterfly Effect.

I don't know if Fight Club acts too 'cool' for its own good, but to each his own. I still think Fight Club is probably the most influential and best movies that came out of the late 90s..

Bridge to teribithia.... I will never get those hours back...

Movies I wish were never made in no particular order -

Pretty much all Rocky sequels after 2
Superman Returns
King Arthur
Die Another Day
The Highlander sequels
28 Weeks Later
