Mr. Bean's Holiday

like you said...THAT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
NOT FUNNY.

he should just give up.

(sarcastic) Look! I'm Mr. Bean, I'm ugly and not funny! :down

Well, it is only a teaser. And Bean's antics over here are usually geared towards the kids, who will love it.

The sounds he makes alone make me lol. :D

(pin drops) the lack of funny is evident:csad:

Eh, my roommate LOVES Mr. Bean and will sit there and laugh like a psycho at him. The weird noises and grunts he makes are about the only thing that crack me up. I'll probably check this out willingly, or unwillingly.

I love me some Bean....Its weird childish humor....but I like it.

just saw ads for this movie. Never knew a sequel was in production. have you guys seen the ads or trailers? what do you guys think of them?

trash....

he's funnier when he speaks (rat race)

I don't exactly remember what movie I saw when this trailer was attached but the audience clapped and cheered for it.

Mr. Bean has always and still is popular overseas, if I'm not mistaken.

Mr. Bean's Holiday was horribly flawed. The half hour TV episodes had a formula where Mr. Bean would suffer some frustrating setback, but just has circumstances would deal him a bad hand he'd be dishing out all manner of problems for the people around him... and usually he'd make a quick getaway, much to the amusement of the viewer. Mr Bean's Holiday by contrast had a few moments of his child-like inspiration scattered throughout, but then made the mistake of handing him one setback after another after another, so that by the time he started pulling his little comeback stunts I found myself dragged down with the character.

It needed fewer setbacks for the main character and it needed more of the kind of situation that was the restaurant gag with the seafood and the woman's handbag.

The movie got one thing right though: Mr. Bean's all too frequent dialogue of the first movie is largely gone and the result is a huge improvement.

I always liked the old Mr. Bean shorts and the TV show, but as a concept I don't think he works well in a full-length movie format.

BlackAdder 2 and 3 were Atkinson at his best anyway.

I'm shocked this is getting such little promotion... the first movie actually performed quite decently in America. I mean, I saw it with a SOLD OUT CROWD on its opening weekend for god's sake!

Not sure if I need another one though...

Black Adder > Mr. Bean

Although the first movie was very funny.

I think it looks funny :o and it was a big hit in Europe.
