Noticed your fan fiction forum is pretty new. I'm a part-time amateur author and over the years have written quite a bit of science fiction (mostly Star Trek) along with a few other endeavors. One of them was the detective crossover that everyone talked about, but no one ever chose to do. So I did it. I'm also a fan of detective stories, so I wrote a crossover called "Mr. Monk Meets Lieutenant Columbo".
