It would still have the same problem of two many Timon and Pumba interruptions stopping the story for a “laugh”. There’s another moment that happens in the story that’s like “why Barry…”

Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison do great voice work. Blue Ivy is a very good young Kiara. “I Always Wanted A Brother and “Milele” are still in my head. There’s even a villain song.

It'll be a Disney+ show at most. If it had been Glenn Powell playing him maybe it would be a different story but I don't think audiences are chomping at the bit for the next Billy Magnussen project.

I really enjoyed this movie and I really liked Taka. It just sucks that the reason Taka ends up going the route we all know he takes is down to the same old bs that usually ruins relationships.
