I was just thinking, what kinda music is Bruce/Batman into? Or do you think he even listens to music?

I was actually thinking about this the other day!!

In MY opinion, I would say classical music.... such as ''The Planets'' by Holst. Mainly Mars and Jupiter, because they're so emotional.

I don't really see Bruce being into rock.

In Mask, he couldn´t stand listening to Mozart´s Requiem because it was played at his parents' funeral. Also, I doubt he enjoys Mephistopheles much, since that was opera being performed the night his parents were killed in Batman Begins.

There was actually a Batman story that involved rock music and it's influence on the youth of America. It was Batman: Fortunate Son and from what I recall from my last reading of it that Bruce wasn't exactly into the rock n roll. But Dick Grayson dug the rock.

It depends on which interpretation of the character you're talking about. If it's more Frank Miller Batman, no, Bruce Wayne's pretty much totally lifeless. If it's more Denny O'Neil's Batman, yeah, I'm sure he listens to music, watches movies, etc. If not for his own sake, for Dick/Tim's.

I could ponder the answers to this kind of question for hours.

I imagine Bruce Wayne would listen to unidentifiable classical music during long, frustrating 'detective' work in the Batcave from time to time.

But ultimately I don't imagine he hooks his iPod up in the Batmobile or listen to Metallica while working out or anything.

Hey, he's a dedicated guy. He lives and breathes his craft. He's like Pacino in the early '70s. Only, you know, fighting crime.
