Musings on DC Cinematic Universe

    I really liked the formula from the TDKT, and think it can be adapted if WB decides to map out a DC cinematic universe. Self-contained trilogies for each of DC's biggest superheroes. Those heroes who aren't as well known can appear in supporting roles within the trilogies. At the conclusion of the DC cinematic universe, an epic trilogy filmed Lord of the Rings style serves as the Justice League film. Each hero is given an ending fitting his or her character arc from his or her respective trilogy (or role within a trilogy).

    Minimal crossovers except for the Justice League Trilogy.

    ^ I like the idea of self-contained solo films with minimal disruption from the producers (whom I'm assuming will be some combination of Chris Nolan, Zack Snyder, and David Goyer), but I don't know that they will be as clean cut as having individual trilogies and then all coming together.
