The MCU can't go on forever. Which villains do you absolutely need to see in it before it all ends? Here are mine:

1. Dormammu (all but guaranteed for a Strange film or sequel)
2. Baron Zemo
3. Mephisto (not sure Marvel Studios can use him)
4. The Leader
5. Enchantress and Executioner
6. Surtur
7. Crossbones (all but guaranteed for Cap 3)
8. Kang
9. MODOK
10. Supreme Intelligence

Also the real Mandarin would be nice, but I don't see that happening. That ship has sailed.

This is in order of who I want to see the most

Kang
Absorbing Man
The Wreaking Crew
The Leader
Enchantress and Executioner
Surtur
Dormammu
Mephisto (was he not part of the Gost Rider deal that Marvel now have back?)

I realise people might question The Wrecking Crew or Absorbing Man, especially their spot on the list, but they are villains I hold dear to my heart and would love to see them on the big screen, and I don't even mean as main villains, maybe just in a style like they did with Batroc in Cap TWS, Kang is the only way I can see The Avengers going after Thanos.

Korvac
Masters of Evil
Mandarin
Molecule Man

I wonder how they'd do the Leader. Surely they'd recast and sort of reimagine the character into the Hulk's true archenemesis compared to his comedic and off-beat role in TIH.

But then again we'll probably never have to worry about that as there won't be another Hulk solo film for a long, long time :p

Kang
Zemo
Enchantress and Exocutioner
Surtur
Klaw
Man Ape
Mephisto
Taskmaster

He's a better Mandarin than the one whose height of villainy is "kidnap washed-up actor from prison".

This is clutching so hard at straws I'm tempted to throw you a few.

But seriously, that you're going to make a qualitative judgment about who's the better Mandarin despite not having seen the latter outside of a tease involving one of his men kind of says all it has to.

You absolutely need to see all of these on screen before the MCU ends? I think you're going to be disappointed! Titanium Man, for instance, has next to no shot whatsoever since he's an Iron Man villain and they've already hit his arch nemesis (albeit a botched version) and Ultron is next. I don't see them going back down to Titanium Man after all that. Crimson Dynamo pretty much falls in the same boat as Mandarin. The studio already ruined the character by changing him too drastically from the comics. Adding the correct version in would be an admission of error, and I don't see the studio owning up to it. And I hate to say it, but, if they couldn't work Egghead into an Ant-Man origin movie, I doubt we ever see him in this universe.

Well considering what they have...

Kang (a must)
Enchantress/Executioner
Hela
Baron Zemo
Surtur
Mangog
Absorbing Man
Korvac
MODOK

I'd also like to see Red Skull return.

BUT if only ...

Dr. Doom :csad:

would they use MODOK as they used arnim zola

I think not having Zola as a walking robot probably left the door open for MODOK. If they made Zola like the comics, then they'd probably think MODOK was too similar to use. Then again, they did use basically the same villain theme in all three Iron Man films with rival engineers.

Good point.

I hope to see MODOK some day and hope Marvel doesn't shy away from it by Nolanizing things like some people want the Captain America franchise to be. I think they struck the perfect balance with Winter Solder. I think the character MODOK could still be done justice in the context of Brubaker-esque tone they've established. He's not just a robot - he's a bloody freak of nature. I love Thor's reaction to him in EMH. Make him revolting and bizarre. It can totally work.

Iron Man has never had great villains IMO. Ironically his best adversary is probably Victor Von Doom. I loved seeing them go head to head.

I'd like to see the fast learner of the super-villain set the TASKMASTER

Oh, we know plenty about the "Mandarin" beyond the teaser. For instance, we also know that he did absolutely nothing when someone stole both his name and his organization, until after said someone was safely dead. Apparently, he's willing to avenge his honor against a washed up actor, but is unwilling to strike against an actual supervillain.

I want Arnim Zola to return as a main villain in a Cap film. I thought he was main villain material in Winter Soldier. Probably would be too similar to Ultron though.

I really, really want Taskmaster in both Cap 3 and the Iron Fist show.

Kang is an awesome character and is one of the Avengers' best villains. I wonder if they would be able to explore his Rama-Tut back story or is that also trapped in the Fox/FF movie rights cluster**** like Doom, Galactus, etc.?

I always figured Fox has the rights to the name Nathaniel Richards, and probably to all the Pharaoh Elements, but that Disney has the rights to most of Kang. The name, the armor etc.

Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader plz? Need some Hulk villains up in this MCU!
