Age of Extinction Must haves for TF3

What/who needs to be in the third movie?

None of them need to be in TF3, although I am not against the inclusion of Grimlock or Omega Supreme. The only ones I feel should not be included would be Headmasters, Quintessons and maybe Fortress Maximus.

I just do not feel the others (excluding Unicron) are unique enough characters to add any new depth to the show.

I do feel that the combaticons would fit in quite well as background characters.

Get back to the old school stuff I say. Blow Bumblebee's legs off again so he can reformat into a compact hatchback (that he would have been better off as from day one). A Sunstreaker and Sideswipe duo would be nice to see. GM probably want their yellow Camaro, so just chuck a hole in the bonnet for a fat arse air scoop & engine and you get a possible concept for a Sunstreaker design.

Anything of the cartoon movie era or later can be discarded. Arcee? Matrix of WTF? Extraneous clutter. Ditch it.

Tweedledee and Tweedledumbarse could be useful for spare parts, so just rip out their sparks and do something useful with them.

I think they should try their hardest to break the trilogy curse and actually make the 3rd film better than the first two. I know some people are going to say "Like that's going to be hard" But it is... and I want to see more of outer space...maybe...possibly Unicron. I'd love for them to hitch a battle back to Cybertron too since they brought in Space Bridges in ROTF.

I'm sorry, but the idea of having Dinobots is just stupid. This story is suppose to be taking place in modern time so with the introduction of robots that are transforming into giant dinosaurs what type of disguise is that?

I picked Shockwave and Unicron as additions to place in the third film. First I would like Soundwave to have an Earth form before Shockwave even makes an appearance. The only thing that scares me about Unicron is that he's bigger than a planet so it would seem kind of awkward for a giant robot just watching the destruction happening on the planet in front of him unless he's constantly sending messages via telepathy to Megatron and the other Decepticons.

I love Grimlock as any other fan, but it wouldnt make sense. In the "The perfect explanation for the Dinobots" thread i proposed a way to give a nod to the dinobots, but i cant see them working on screen more than that.

Also, I'd like Ultra Magnus just as long as he doesnt look so much like Prime.

The Quintessons are unnecessary because the cube created everything. And with the way Bay perplexed the plot in ROTF, do you really want to see the quintessons in this? It would be impossible to understand any of the TF origins.

Stunticons? Hell no. At least not identical to the autobots. People will get confused. No other bot should have Prime's alt mode. Period. Maybe another truck, but seeing how Prime's isnt the most beautiful out there, it wont be hard for the stunticon leader to get a cooler truck alt mode.

Aerialbots. Hell yeah!

Predacons.... wait what? Is this beast wars? No its not. Then what the ****?

Omega Supreme, hell to the yeah, just as long as they use him properly. No to fortress maximus, because an autobot city makes little sense in the bayverse.

Shockwave, hell yes.

Headmasters. You gotta be kidding me....

I'd like to see Hot Rod and his progression to Rodimus once Prime dies. But that would mean that he takes the Matrix and whatdoyaknow, the matrix is a key! Otherwise, why would a noob like HotRod become the leader? In any case, the moment HotRod comes on screen, people will be anticipating the moment Prime dies. And i'd like about 20 movies of Prime before i can say goodbuy... You know what.... Prime should never die. Maybe pass the leadership to HotRod for a while for some reason.

Of the poll options, I voted for Shockwave, Quintessons, and other.

When it comes to Shockwave, being that I think he has main villain potential. Especially if they use the Dreamwave miniseries 'War and Peace' as a template. If not, I'd still like to see him as a major character.

In the case of the Quintessons, them being in an alliance with the Decepticons is another plot idea that I think could work for TF3. They don't have to be the creators of the TF's, and I wouldn't want them to be.

Reason for "other" is just for the characters I want to see them introduce. Which are Prowl, Wheeljack, Mirage, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Rumble, and Laserbeak.

Soundwave getting a huge boost in screentime is another necessity.

For the others things listed, I don't want to see Headmasters. I'd love to see the Dinobots, but they aren't deal breakers to me. The Combaticons/Bruticus are my choice for a new Decepticon combiner. I wouldn't mind seeing the Aeriabots or Omega Supreme as an Autobot counterpart to him. Save Ultra Magnus for another sequel.

I picked Unicron and other. I picked Unicron because he is my all time favorite Transformers villan. And I picked other because I want to see Hot Rod and Springer. Springer is a top three favorite Transformer for me with Optimus and Hot Rod being the other two.

I meant that he could become Rodimus after 3-4 movies when maybe the franchise would become stale and need some refreshing. I didnt like HotRod and especially the stupid way he got Optimus killed. I liked him more as Rodimus. He is the noob leader trying to get it right and it was something fresh at the time. The franchise didnt need another Prime if the target was to freshen it up.

Fortress Maximus is one of the stupidest concepts ever. Ditto The Headmasters.

I would like to see a proper Arcee. Bay ****ed up by calling that tank Devastator in the first film and then retconned it, so maybe this can happen without a lot of trouble, but i dont care, i just want it to happen. That was a disgrace and not Arcee. She should be just as big as the other autobots so that means she would have to be a car too. That would allow her to actually do some proper fighting and have an important role in the film.
