Well I'm working on my 2nd and final Batman fan production before moving on to original work.

And after weeks of searching online, and through the power of networking, I took a 3 man crew from Dallas, Texas to Jackson, Tennessee to film all of the footage involving the greatest automobile in the world of cinema. I'm the one in the Batsuit:

Looking good.
I love the costume and the Batmobile (Its my favorite design of the Batmobile).
Can't wait to see your fanfilm. :)

Looks great but you need to use the black eye paint! The cowl always looks bad without it. I really like the use of all black spandex though. Somehow it just works well :)

Lovely. But like the above said...you NEED that eyepaint. Way too distracting without it.

I cant believe you got the batmobile, thats freaking awesome. And I agree with the rest, that eye-black is essential.

You definitely got the Keaton's brooding look down. There's something off about the costume...I think because its all black, it doesn't look menacing. Or maybe I'm just used to seeing a muscular, rubber suit. However, the cape is awesome.

Through lighting, framing and color correction, it'll look fine. I've been watching the footage back and it looks fine just in its raw form...so it's gonna work out. Literally you can't tell whether I'm wearing eye make up or not...that's why I didn't wear any, for comfort reasons.

Great pics, looking forward to this with much anticipation.
Rusty's Batmobile is incredible.

I know. And he's such a nice guy to. In fact, it seemed like everyone in Jackson was nice. That fact really hit when I got back home to the bunch of a**holes I usually have to deal with lol.

But seriously, there's something about the suit and car...women can't help but be attracted to it.

As for the film itself, since I haven't talked about it at all:

It's a film titled "The Death Count" and it's based on a new/original origin I created for Victor Zsasz. The piece will also feature the Penguin.

Basically, being an observer of fan films ever since 'Dead End' the first thing I did was sit down and write out a laundry list of 'pitfalls' to avoid. That said there's no cliche 'Suit-Up' scene, no use of Joker or Scarecrow as the main baddies, no plagarizing off of existing Batman film/TAS/comic material (though I AM putting in a bunch of nods to the history of the character and cameos based off of DKR, TLH and even the 60s show).

We shot a Batmobile-centered Teaser which will be cut by mid July in time for my school's film festival (I've been attending the Art Institute of Dallas for my BFA in Digital Film and Television Production since Summer 06).

All in all, I'm fairly excited to get this project right; it's my 2nd work based on Batman and it's going to be my final as well. And I figured it'd be best to go out all guns blazing...hence the Batmobile.

Wow, this look really impressive!
How did you get the batmobile?
The suit is looking really good, it's simple but cool!
And when can we expect the movie or a trailer?

The teaser will be out in August, various trailers will be cut throughout the Fall Season and the online release is being slated for sometime within late December...early January at the latest.

If you're in the Dallas area (This is being shot primarily in Dallas, TX) we'll be holding screenings at the Angelika over at Mockingbird Station in December.
