My dream cliffhanger if their is a season 9...

If Smallville gets a 9th season. This is how I want the cliffhanger to be. Their is a fight brewing between the Justice League and Mercy's "Injustice" League. But, for some reason Clark doesn't come with them. The first fight ends with the Justice League falling back. While re-grouping Clark shows up in some kind of costume and says "Let's finish this!" the screen then cuts to black. t:

the way Clark progression has gone this season, I really don't know if the writers have anything left for a season 9. Is there anything else? I would welcome it...

yea i know i would love to see it too, but i am a realist in the matter with the show. We know with its budget its very limited on what we can see and what they can pull off. Now what you were saying would work alot better if they had the budget like the shows lost or heroes with 3-4 million dollars per episode compared to i believe 1million dollars per episode for smallville.

I would like to see the season 8 finale to end like the series finale of Angel where Clark and the Justice League start to battle the Injustice League and Doomsday. They show both sides getting ready to fight and as they run toward each other, the screen fades to black.

I would like the Tess's team with the help of Doomsday, beat Ollie's JL, till they turn around and see Clark flying in the air come to help them out, all with nervous looks on their face.

See if a 9th season is a go, as much as I would love to see Clark in the Superman uniform, it won't happen.

I would like to see a final fight between Clark and the Justice League vs Doomsday and Tess's Injustice League. At the last scene have Clark and Doomsday kill each other and both the JL and IJL stop and to see the carnage.

What I'd like to see as a season finale cliffhanger if there is a season 9 would be to have the injustice league fighting the justice league & have Ollie just about to land the last punch on one of the Injustice league members, then all of a sudden he see's Doomsdays shadow leering over him, as he looks up in fear, Doomsday throws a punch & just before it lands you see a fist clash with Doomsdays, cut to CLark in full Superman costume look up at Doomsday with the same expression as Brandon did to the helicopter gun guy in SR & then we see Clark's fist coming towards camera about to punch Doomsday & cut to black just as the fist is coming at us.

Would be nice for the series to end next year on a Thursday night with Clark flying and then a movie open the next night picking right up from the end of the tv show.

At first I thought it would be technically impossible. But, then when Star Trek:TNG ended. They went right to a feature film after the show ended.

he will destroy them all within minutes

what i would like to see DD who has become much stronger and destroying all JL members including kara and MM

GA tries to fight and gives all his strenght to match him up but DD is too strong for him GA is severely injured in his fight with DD

clark is no where to be seen

Tess who cares for GA/Oliver asks her injsutice leauge to fight DD and so Injutice leuage team up with JL to defeat DD but again he is too strong for them

then sudenly a flying figure attacks DD and we see clark wearing his superman suit and both DD and superman run towrad eachother with super speed and episode ends there to be continued

sseaon 9 will be all about JL vs Darkseid

He is in the FOS and the crystals expand presenting him with the costume. Zoom in on Welling's hand grabbing for the costume, then zoom to his face with a look of determination.

Clark dying on Smallville has become pretty cliche at this point. The only way it will have any weight, is if he's already a public figure and the world takes his death hard. A battle with doomsday would probably be the best cliffhanger though.

To those ranting about never seeing the super suit on Smallville. Not wearing the suit, doesn't mean he wont wear a costume. His jacket and jeans are a precursor to his costume. The one Ollie wore is the next phase of that precursor. It'd be pretty cool to see Clark wearing something similar.

He is forced to grow up, then he is shown his way to be the hero and leave Clark behind (in terms of the being the hero)... We can get away with such reasoning on SV as it's pretty elseworld.

He doesn't need to be forced to do anything. He's working in metropolis, saving people all night. He's already realized that he needs to find a way to be a symbol, and that he needs to cover his identity.

Honestly, if there was a point right now, where he was forced to do something, it would just be Jor El screwing with him.

"Alright son, i'll bring you back to life just this once.... but you have to wear spandex. Sorry, those are the rules."

He's honestly just a super suit and glasses away.
