so,yeah,i was sitting here pissed off a bit....i love TDK,and can't wait til the DVD hits Tuesday...and i love the MM line...but how UNFAIR is it that there are no really decent Two-Face toys out in time for this!? we got hosed when the movie came out,and we got hosed again now that the DVD is hitting...sure,there's a fairly nice 5" figure,but no 'Face love for the 6" line til next year...so i was sitting here,and i looked at the 5" Two-Face i have...such a nice,awesome Aaron Eckhardt likeness...then i looked again,and realized he is bigger than the rest of the 5" line...then i looked at the head,and size-compared it to some MM figures...holy ****!! it is so close in size to them,the difference in negligable....and i went to work....and a couple hours later,i present my newest custom: Two-Face,now with Eckhardt likeness!
recipe: MM Thug body and Scarecrow hands....
with 5" line Two-Face head....
cutom tie,and had to repaint the shirt and the head....
all in all,i think it came out pretty damned good!
i had to hollow out the head to make it fit...just put it in boiling water to soften it up,then drilled it apart inside,cutting off the neck....
then i had to repaint the whole burned side with black,grey,pink,and white (for the skull), leaving the eye and teeth alone...
