My Ideas For Future GTA Games.

My idea for the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 (yes there is a PS4) is the combination of different elements together. The new GTA game should follow the ideas of this. The new story will take place in Tokyo, Kyoto and other parts of Japan. It will introduce the main person, a teenage boy named Kiotso Chan age 16 whos father is a member of the japanese mafia and he wants to be like his dad. He is japanese and the game will begin with a gang of men killing his 12 year old brother while outside of his home and the boy wanting to infiltrate who caused it and get close to kill him so that means joining their gang. The new game should have these in it:
1: The same facial, clothing, hair, skin technolgy used nin Heavy Rain for realistic 3D characterization using graphical user interface software and motion capture.
2: The player should be able to completely enter all exhisting interiors of buildings and use elevators, open doors, open fridges, use microwaves, and much more interacting with environments inside and outside.
3: There should be a wide selection of vehicles to be taken including mustang, ferarri,lamborghini, old vans, etc where when selecting the car to steal or break into and once entered it will display the dash and controls of the car sitting in the front seat. You have to actually join the wires together to hotwire the vehicle and ability to drive away. There is also if a op drives by you have to hide so not spotted, diable the car alarm if a small light is flashing, you can run the car till it runs out of gas or refill at gas stations and pay for it and other things such as fueling, changing tires, etc and in a body shop the ability to customize the vehicle and color or add things to the car.
4: Wide array of weapons such as rifles, explosives, shotguns, hammer, saw, and more.
5: There needs to be detail in environments that is very realistic as in the same Hard Rain game.
6: When you destroy things outside or inside, without the look of zero damage. If you cause a fire, blow things up or any damage caused will remain in the game. There is the ability to break all windows, destroy tables, walls, chairs and anything in the environment and able to destroy the building itself with explosions. Also the aility to enter stores and other places and rob them at gunpoint or shoplift by not beeing seen by employees and using the control at the right sequence to perform this. If seen by the employee you can kill them if needed before they call the cops.
7: You have the ability to kill or even kidnap anyone and torture them using a variety of weapons and objects but only able to do this at safe houses you purchase.
8: Any person outside that is shot should show physical damage such as blood on clothing or head caused by blunt trauma or gun shot wounds. If they fall down, you can chose to shoot them and if you do it will show blood and inner body stuff or you can drag them off and steal their clothing by stripping them naked or torture them but have to be sure cops dont see you or anyone else.
9: Many type people are seen such as kids, adults all ages and nationalities sitting, walking, taking bus, driving, playing in parks, in stores, in their homes if you enter, and many other places and icluding animals such as birds, dogs, cats, horses, and others outside.

Hard Rain is a very good game with a good storyline and characters and great effects yes. It would be a great blend combination using the same style with a new series of GTA with more and better abilities in a free roam environment with major consequences by actions and choices in GTA: Japan Shadows. The title is something i came up with quick but i love Japan.

My idea if for the ultimate adult edition of the GTA series that will blow the lid off the market of games with this idea. With the new tech and computer programs and if a company would take the time and money to create a GTA that would put the rest to shame it would be the best. Here is my ideas for this new one.

1: It should take place within a calendar, showing the date on the screen begins on Octber 1st and the game ends on New Years day. It begins where you chose which player to use ( either a man or woman where you can design them and name them and give them stats and build their skills).
2: You can chose whether the character chosen will be gay, straight, lesbian, or bisexual and live that lifestyle to date male or female and go places and build your relationship up and chose to get married or not and go from there.
3: There will be 100% nudity frontal and rear male and female or seen in underwear, sexy clothing, strip clubs and much more. You can chose to purchase any clothing in any store in the city to dress the player in any style or just keep them in underwear if you chose with detail.
4: You start from being homeless in the street. With choices within the game it will result in consequences throughout. You can chose the (Blue) missions which take the character toward being a cop and detective and taking out crime on missions, on side missions arresting criminals and other things. On the (Red) missions, this will determine to work your way up through the criminal empire taking over businesses, taking out competition, working your way up to being a criminal kingpin.
5: In the city, when you steal a vehicle on the street. When you enter the vehicle, a panel appears on screen where in a time limit given, you must test scratch the right wires together to hotwire the car. If you dont do it in time you are either arrested by cops who see you, when the car explodes overheating from you using the wrong wires or the car locking you inside for cops to show up. It is too easy to steal cars in GTA and this would make it better and more of a challenge. When you steal the car, here are the steps:
(A) A panel shows up where you must use a wire to successfully unlock the car ( B) Now in the car, you must chose the right wires and hotwire the car correctly in given time (C) If successful, even if so, and the car is out of gas you will not be able to drive it away. You need to do all of this but cannot be seen by pedestrains or cops driving or walking by.
6: During the holidays, there will be the following: (Halloween) Kids dressed in costumes on the streets, holiday decorations, music played. (Thanksgiving) Same thing. (Christmas) It is snowing, santas and bell ringers, holiday lights and trees decorated, music on radio and much more seasonal things
7: You can enter any builing such as grocery, strip joints, arcades, restaurants and sit down and order food or enjoy the entertainment or shop through the isles and at a grocery store you pay for it or you can run out of the store with it or rob at gunpoint.
8: If you point a gun at someone on the street and they put up their hands, a list of commands will appear and if the person follows them correctly they will give over their money and what you ask them to give over and this means you will be unable to kill them no matter what. If they fight you or not do this you can kill them. Anyone you kill on the street with random gunfire you must physically go to them and search them for money in their pockets or you can take their clothing off them andt you can chose to wear them or be in inventory.
9: When you go on internet you can email someone with a list of choices that appear and send. You can email anyone to date them which a whole list of people that appear or actually shop online and have the items delivered to your home when you get a place to live. Your apartment or house will be empy until you furnish it with tables, chairs, choice of wall color, and other things you can buy online or go into stores where they sell furniture and other things.
10: When you go into a store or building, when you interact with an employee a list will appear where you can chose to be nice, ask a question or be rude to them. If rude too much or insult them they can tell you to leave or call cops if you dont do that.
11: When you enter a building, you can sit down or you can destroy any table, window, wall, etc inside such as burning it, setting a bomb, etc and anything destroyed will remain that and next time seen it will be under construction. You can destroy the entire building with catastrophic results which will put you on the list as a terrorist and will be hunted by cops at all times. You can destroy bridges, cars, concrete, airplanes flying, signs, all trees and shrubs, lights, and much more in the city with bad results.
12: You can rob any store or person on street and chose to kill them, torture them or anything.
13: New weapons such as bow and arrow, saw, nailgun, hammer, guns, broken bottle, knife, and more or use certain objects around you can pick up as a weapon.
14: You can update the characters skills, charisma, fear and more while through the game and get haircuts, take showers which see everything, take baths if want, watch tv, bet on race tracks, buy lotto tickets for fun, do laundry if needed, buy cars or things at stores, rob banks, break into homes at night and kill them or tie them up, upgrade skills, buy any property that comes up on property sales list by going in person, pay off cops, and much much more.
15: You can ride taxies, ride busses, hitchhike if you want, steal cars or bicycles, steal skateboards, unicycles, boats, steal jet skiis, steal a cruise ship and drive recklessly and much more vehicles.
16: When you are in the city, you will run into others that are killing cops, runnng away from them, shooting people on streets and more like you are time to time. There are crooked cops also that will be seen attacking people in alleys and you can chose to help the person or attack them with the cop and earn his trust and he will work with you. Once in awhile there will be drunk drivers and others like that in the city.
17: When you steal a cop car, there will always be a wanted level on you no matter what until you change your appearance and hide where they cant find you but has to be in a dark area or something.
18: If you chose to be a cop later on, you can pull people over, ask questions and physically arrest them or chase them down if they run. You can search the vehicle if needed or suspected criminal acts. The same thing will happen to you if a cop pulls you over for speeding or running a red light. You will have to chose a list of answers he will ask you and if you chose wrong he will arrest you or search your vehicle, if you answer right he will let you go or with a ticket.
19: There needs to be a wide arrange of people in the city from kids, men, women, animals seen, cops, detectives, criminals, people seen in their windows and shopping and in restaurants and more.

There is alot more but not sure yet. I would love to see the ultimate GTA game if Rockstar would get their money going and come up with something that would be the best ever and be the NO 1 seller. I would give anything for the chance to work with them to develop something to the Ultimate: GTA

There are a couple things i forgot:

1: Hold people hostage or set a bomb in the store to escape from the cops.
2: When you are in a car, you can switch the view to outside or inside. If inside view you can see the steering wheel, gauges, radio and more. If you have an ipod, you can connect it to the game console and play the music through the car radio or you must keep an eye on the gauges to make sure the car dont overheat or runs out of gas. You can fill up the gas tank at gas stations full service or go to a car wash that actually works, take to a auto shop and get it customized by you chosing the colors and anything you want put on it, and buy cars you cant steal from showrooms or internet.
3: When you enter a restaurant, a icon will appear on the menu and where you scroll through the items. When you chose, it will show the employee adding it on register and people cooking it for you. When you pay for it you chose to eat there or takeout. If you eat there you sit down and they bring it to you and then you can chose which item to eat in a row. If you take it, he will hold onto a bag of food till you chose to eat it or put in fridge. You should also be able to use the drive thru to order and get food at restaurants.
4: People in the city will be seen doing many things such as shopping, eating, swimming, dancing, at beach, driving, walking, shopping, on phones, in homes, homeless asking for change, sidewalk entertainers, purse snatchers, police walking and driving, people rollerblading, walking pets, in clubs, in hospital, sitting, jogging, ice skating, playing video games and much more.
5: You will have a cell phone where you can call other people you meet when you want to and leave a message to them with a list of choices, customize the phone, use phone internet, listen to a ipod, use a laptop you can buy in a store and use wifi in places, etc.
6: You can put your own music downloaded onto his ipod and listen to whenever or customize the laptop he buys with wallpapers and more and search sites like porn any type and other places.
7f course the different weather elements through the city and a actual clock telling day, night, time, season, zip code, and more and also a personal GPS he can carry with him.
8: Hide in dumpsters, behind them, inside buildings and more to get away and once in awhile you will be mugged and must chose the right things not to be killed or kill them yourself if you can.

These ideas can be accomplished in a game with the right details and it can be done in todays world. You must have a open imagination and not worry of cost and what it takes but if they can cram a whole list of things onto a cell phone or ipod or things like that, making a ultimate GTA game is and can be possible if people would have open expectations and not worry about if its done but i just want to know if it could be done what would someone like in a game like this. This can be done, there is no such thing as impossible when it comes to video games have an open mind and even if other people dont like it I do and putting here is a opinion and i care not that i do anyone else if you are closed minded.

Open minded people apply who like GTA and as one of the best games, i will come up with more ideas over and over on here and post them no matter how many or how long it takes.

yes i am serious and this can be done. Who really wants a game that is easy to accomplish there should be more challenge in a game that just shooting people but many other things that can lead into consequence and chances that move the story forward with the character.

I... don't get it... Is this a pitch? Because I don't think Rockstar is reading a random superhero forum. I like your creativity and all, but you said that "nothing is impossible with video games". That's actually not true at all. A video game has limitations just like anything else. You can't just cram everything and anything into a game, since there are finite technical restrictions on what a console/PC can do. The kind of stuff you want in your imagined GTA game (being able to destroy absolutely any part of a huge environment, complete control over even the most minute details of a character's life, etc) just aren't possible right now. At least, not in the detail you'd like. Maybe in the next generation, but even then it's a long shot. It sounds like you want a game to give you the same freedom as real life. We're not there yet.

This is ridiculous. It literally can't be done. The processing power alone to generate such an open world would be at best 15 years away.

It would be like trying to run MGS 4 or Assassin's Creed III on the PS1.

With the multitude of processor speed and CGI based games with the effects of most games including DC vs Mortal combat and games like the Incredible Hulk on PS2 it was possible to destroy everything in the environment including buildings, cars and more. Using the new Blue ray tech and pact with new motion capture CGI to create a game that wouldnt take too much to design. With a multitude of games like Arkham Asylum based on those graphics combined with better memory for the PS4 system (this will be for PS4) the game can be done. I like this idea my opinion and i know damn sure it can be done.

So you go from being Homeless to a cop or criminal Kingpin in 3 months.

That would take some doing.

Did... did you just throw out a lot of words that sounded technical to you, and hope that it made sense? Because it didn't... This does not make sense. At all. Like someone else said, it's like Jon Pertwee's The Doctor shouting "reverse the polarity of the neutron flow".

Let's run down your problems.

Firstly: The disc. The largest size disc that comes for gaming is the dual layered Blu-Ray. This disc can hold 50 GB of data. And nothing is really being done in development for hard copies. So that would be your ceiling.

To put into perspective how much space you would need to have this open world with true individuals and top notch graphics we'll use a game that is nowhere even close to yours.

Metal Gear Solid 4. This game did not have a truly customisable main character (aside from facecamo). It was not open world. It did not have an interactive environment. It did not have truly unique npc's. However as a game, because of the detailed graphics and cutscenes it took up nearly the entirety of the disc.

Let's look at last generation now. The God of War collection, was ported to PS3. Another game without a customisable protagonist. Graphics were substandard as they were ports. Linear environment. Non-interactive environment. That took up the entirety of a single layered disc.

Problem 2: Processing power. There's not enough. Read up on Ohm's law. Basically technology becomes either half the price, twice as small or twice as fast every 18 months. You would require around 180 months for the game you're suggesting and to put it into perspective we will use a current example. Console emulation. In this case, Gamecube on Playstation 3. Despite the fact that a port would theoretically be far easier on PS3 than PC because PS3 and GC have the same basic architecture when it comes to playing the game. However consoles don't have the power to keep the game running and the best they can do is two generations old.

There are more. But I just can't be bothered.

Your game is at best 2 generations away.

My idea for the next GTA game is a little simpler:

GTA: Hillbilly Highway. (Working title, I'm not sold on it yet.)

Basically a 1970s car action flick in the vein of Burt Reynolds movies (Smokey and the Bandit series, Gator, etc.) and Dukes of Hazzard. You play 'shine runners and pot-growers in the South in the Lynyrd Skynyrd/Allman Brothers era (with the requisite southern rock soundtrack). Lots of muscle cars, Harleys, 18-wheelers and pickemups. And just to keep it from being *too* redneck, have the lead work against, but ultimately for, a streetwise blaxploitation ATF agent straight outta Shaft, who operates out of a big city (what passes for 1970s Atlanta in GTAWorld) and uncovers a massive, heavily-armed militia movement organizing in secret in the backwoods to rise up against the guvmint.
