I know what you mean... if I hadn't stopped buying Detective Comics in 1996, I'd have over 300 consecutive issues...

Yeah my Detective collection is choppy as well, Batman is what I'm most proud of I have run from issue 350 to Current and I'll go back farther as time goes on but right now I'm trying to get Ghost Rider vol. 2 # 6-25 complete since they're cheap at the moment and I'm trying to get a lot of older flash stuff.

all the vertigo posters are Promo Posters only sent to stores before the books come out, they're not for sale. You must either beg retailers for them (and they only get one apeice) or shop ebay

but i can imagine a single dude bringing a lady friend into a room like that, and unless the lady friend is a rabid fan, i could imagine the effect being similar to a cold sardine bath.

but yeah i had a few books up and a BTAS cell and slowly but surely they all came down.

Hehe, you have no idea yet my friend, no idea. My girl and I are close to being engaged *in other words I can't afford the ring she wants yet* If even try to put out something she doesn't like I get the look of death. You don't want to go past that...not if you value your lower extremities.

have a small vegas wedding,

take years to buy a house (nyc is out of control)

and have a corner of a room where i can go to be alone with my precious.

I have the girl

I'm working on the ring

I have a decent house that's being paid for *another reason I don't have the ring yet*

I have my collection, it's just not out in the open.

So yeah you can do all of it. It's just that I'll need to buy a house with an extra room to put my collection in if I want it to be visible.

And school does pay off, especially if you're going for your second degree.

Might I ask what you or say your parents do, that you have this huge wealth of old school comics. I'm really impressed by those wall books of yours man. When I was 21 and working at CVS, I couldn't afford beer, let alone a bunch of silver age books.
