Preety cool.
You Photoshoped it?
Cool.Dude you can do any thing in photoshop and it looks good.Thats one thing i like that program.
Oh.I never herd of the 3-D program.Well not really man! This is two thirds 3D programs and one third photoshop.
I thinik norrin has power and can be knocked off his board but most of the time, unless placed in a forcefield, he can retrieve it fairly easily...(unless someone else is siphoning the power)Cool poster, I wouldnt mind an offical one similar to that at all.
BUT, because of the idiotic decision's by the crew to make SS's board the source of his power, he will never be able to be completely Silver while not on his board.
This here is a poster I finished on friday.
This is not a "manip".
This is entirely original using both 3D an 2D applications.
I dream of scoring me some official Silver Surfer movie work.
I do hope you like it:

I'm happy that you guys like it!
Well I'm off to meet and chat with the movie media company in London tomorrow afternoon and this Silver Surfer is the final piece in my portfolio.
So hopfully, this will cement their impression of me!
Sweet! You should make your own Movie Posters thread in the fan-art section. May I also recommend making some Batman posters?
Thanks!
I can say that my meeting went very well yesterday and this Silver Surfer, which was the last piece in my portfolio, went down very well. Almost too well as it gives the impression that I am a wicked 3D modeler. Which I am not.
Anyways, it was just a meet and greet thing and they were very impressed thankfully.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull was mentioned as one of many possible jobs I could get involved with. In what capacity, I do not know as no one person does a movie poster (except for painter Drew Struzan).
We'll see what happens. They approaced me before about working on Star Trek Nemises and nothing came of it. So I am not holding my breath.
Still, it was nice visiting and impressing a company like that is pretty dope as you can well imagine!
Awesome, i hope you get some work out of it bud, we all know more fanboys should be involved with the creatio of these things.
Thanks man!
I have sent this directly to Tim Story so lets see if (like John Favreau) he replies.
I am of the opinion that studios release raw images from movies so that fans like us can knock up some posters. This may then help with getting idea for the official promotional stuff.
They really should have more poster competitions like the one the folks from Resident Evil did a few years back.
