*Cut to the WB and DC logos before fading out to Gordon and Batman*

Gordon: ...armed robbery...

*cut to a quick glimpse of someone in a clown mask with a bag of money*

...double homicide...

*show 2 bodies*

...leaves a calling card...

*show the card until dramatic music is played and you switch to Harvey Dent giving a speech*

Harvey: I swear...by my power...

*show random hostages in front of J's "Slaughter Is the Best Medicine" truck*

...we will put a stop to the innocent blood being spilled. *cut back 2 Harvey* A stop to this city's utter scum.

*cut to Batman riding the Batbod just underneath the Joker's truck and then firing at it while one of J's minions tries to shoot at him from his seat*

I belive in Gothom. I belive in justice. *cut to a figure in a purple guise grining and shaking his head* But do you belive...in me?

*cut to the same figure*

Person: I do....*lifts his head up to reveal he's The Joker* Harvey. *all of his minions come crashing in, fully armed*

*then cut to a black screen..before it reveals Batman holding Joker over a building in the rain*

Batman: Where is he?? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM??

Joker: *giggles* Why..I've done nothing...*cut to the Batman logo*...but prove my point...

*then finish with the Batman logo exploding and Joker laughing insanely like in the "leaked trailer" we saw*

edit: Ugh...I'm such a noob...I meant to post this in the Fan Fiction section of the boards...I'll try to delete and move this...if I can...

GREAT! I loved you used his logic from the Killing Joke, I hope they draw some parallels there in the actual movie! Although, I wish people would stop using the same V/O from Begins. It's a jumping off point, sure, but I doubt it'll be anywhere in the real trailers.

Yeah, I like your ideas. My only fault would be that I actually want Maroni to scar Dent, not the Joker if I assume correctly that whomever Batman was asking for was Harvey.

Here's a pretty simple one that might work as a TV spot:

*WB and DC logos play, while a slow and creepy version of pop-goes-the-weasle plays*

Joker: *hums to the song while while walking through a road with tons of people -supposedly dead- lying on the ground while dropping verious playing cards*

*he finally drops 1 finally card...a version of the one seen at the end of BB...and walks to his truck*

Joker: Let's go, boy's

*screen pans out to the same exploding logo and insane laughter before someone says "The Dark Knight, in theaters July 18th. Rated PG-13."
