The trailer opens with a logos (with Verspertilio Batman Begins music in the background)

Black screen...

A fuzzy picture of Joker flickers on the black screen (it appears he's on live TV).

JOKER: Good evening worthless, sordid citizens of Gotham City...

Joker hides in the shadows grinning as cops look for him.

JOKER: Introductions aside, I just want to let you all know that I'm going to kill you all tonight...

Joker holds a knife up to Rachel (new footage).

JOKER: ...and beleive you me I never make a promise I'm unable to keep...

Joker is again seen on the TV (this time inside the penthouse as Bruce looks).

JOKER: Good night, sleep tight and have reeeaaaal... silent dreams... HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Bruce Wayne looks at the TV then gets up.

Popular milisecond footage of Batman putting on his glooves, then mask, then cape.

Screen flashes and is then dark again.

JOKER: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

The hospital blows up!

Joker hangs out of the cop car (new footage).

The Tumbler makes a sharp turn.

Joker grabs Gamble.

JOKER: Why so serious?

Scarecrow punches a thug then sprays him with fear gas.

Joker grabs Scarecrow then releases fear gas him. We then see a split second of a more horrific version of Joker due to the gas!

Joker rubs his knife against Rachel's face.

JOKER: You're never fully dressed without a smile...

Rachel kicks him.

JOKER: A little fight in ya, I like that!

BATMAN: Then you're gonna love me!

Batman beats Joker inside the interrogation room.

Harvey Dent stands up speaking.

DENT: People of Gotham City! It's time we were free! Free from the crime that has wracked this city! Free from Carime Falcone! Salvatore Maroni... and Joker!

Batman yells at Joker in the interrogation room.

BATMAN: What do you want!?

JOKER: Harvey Dent... dead!

Maroni throws acid on Dent!

DENT: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blank screen!

In a bar room a coin flips up in the air... (we don't see Dent)

BARTENDER: Dent? I thought you were dead!?

DENT: Half...

Trailer credits

Joker's 18 wheeler flips over.

We zoom in on the truck when Joker comes out bleeding out of the mouth.

JOKER: Looks like I have a flat!

Batman zooms around Joker on his batpod.

JOKER: Come on! Hit me! KILL ME!!!

Joker pulls out his knife and slams it into Batman. The screen flashes.

Nice! Some great moments there, great first shot of the tv screen flickering to life. Nice choice on Joker's very first line, calling people "worthless".

Joker (with clown mask) stands on the corner of a street block waiting for a truck to come pick him up (off of the Prologue).

JOKER: From the bottom of my honest-to-goodness heart, I felt the demonic urge to create mass panic...

Joker's blood-stained fingers tap a wooden desk.

JOKER: And beleive you me, I've never made a promise I was unable to keep...

There is a massive explosion in the streets.

We now see the TV again (from inside Bruce's penthouse) as Joker speaks.

JOKER: Good night, sleep tight and have reeeaaal... silent dreams... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!

Bruce watches and then gets up.

Barbastella (04:02 -04:35) by Hans Zimmer plays.

Batman puts on his gloves, belt then mask. The Tumbler spins around inside of the penthouse garage.

Joker hangs out of the cop car (new footage).

Joker's snarling at Gamble.

JOKER: Why so serious?

Scarecrow punches Joker while spraying him with fear toxins.

Joker grins (instead of screaming) as the toxins hit him.

Joker turns the toxins on Scarecrow and forces him down to the ground with a knife held to his neck. The view we have of Joker (from the perspective of Scarecrow) is such: His green hair seems to be slightly alive like snakes, his red lips get larger and his brownish teeth begin to rot in front of him. His eyes are red. And he then begins to talk to him.

JOKER: What's wrong Crane? Can't handle your own medicine?

Joker rubs his knife against Rachel's face.

JOKER: You're never fully dressed without a smile...

Rachel kicks him and Joker falls to the ground (extended footage).

JOKER: A little fight in ya, I like that...

Joker walks up to Rachel while licking his lips.

BATMAN: Then you're gonna love me!

Batman punches Joker over a table inside the interrogation room.

Harvey Dent addresses the town.

DENT: Citizens of Gotham! It's time we were free! Free from the crime and corruption that has wracked this city! Free of Carmine Falcone! Salvatore Maroni! And Joker!

BATMAN: What do you want?

Joker looks at Batman with a bloody grin.

JOKER: To add some bliss to Harvey Dent's life...

Joker addresses Maroni.

JOKER: Let's make a deal...

Maroni throws acid on Harvey Dent.

DENT: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Black screen!

In a bar room a coin flips up in the air and lands on the table follows by a acid scarred hand slamming down on top of it.

The bartender looks up at Dent (we only see the good half of his face).

BARTENDER: Dent? I thought you were dead?

DENT: Half...

THE DARK KNIGHT​

Black screen (2 seconds).

A rising voice chorus plays for the remainder of the trailer, with drum beats in between each shot...

A helicopter falls to the ground.

Screen flashes.

An 18-wheeler hits it and flips over.

Screen flashes.

A fast zoom in shot of the Joker crawling from the truck looking upwards with a devilish grin on his face as blood pours from his mouth.

Screen flashes and turns to darkness.

Joker turns around with a grin on his face as he wipes the blood from his mouth. He then begins to talk.

JOKER: Looks like I have a flat!

Batman zooms at Joker on his bat pod at top speed. He slams on brakes and skids around Joker, falling off the bike rolling on the pavement.

JOKER: Come and kill me, batsy!!!

Batman walks up to Joker and at the last minute Joker pulls out a knife and stabs him in the throat! Batman falls to the ground!

Screen flashes!

Black screen:

JOKER: I beleive... whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you... stranger...

NOTE:

Some of the dialogue I was congratulated with I ended up changing... tell me which you like better.

Good but I'd like to point out a couple of things. First the Dent speech. You should consider removing any mention of Falcone since he's no longer a threat to Gotham. Finally, The Joker stabs Batman... in the throat? 'Nuff said. Other than that, great work.
