Just looked on IMDB and though they arent always on top of things, they do report that Rebecca is in talks to revise her role as a younger mystique in the new Magneto movie

That would make sense given the fact that she and Erik obviously have a deeper relationship in the movies than they ever had in the comics.

Why wouldn't they have Mystique?? She and Magneto have a strong relationship in the films. Did they have a strong relationship in the comics too?

It would certainly be good to see their relationship develop. Especially because those bonds would even further discount what happened in X3 with Mags dumping her off so suddenly, lol.

i guess it would be nice if they showed Mystique as a kinda "bad agent" or an asssassin, and then in a party she meets Magneto and decides to be the mutant she always was and fight for his cause.
This could be one of the last scenes, as i dont want their involvement to be that tight.

i like the idea of them meeting towards the end but how would they just meet at a party? who's hosting it and why? that would probably not work out....no offense or anything though.

But serious, it might be anything, a party hosted by the mayor, something like a charity ball. And then he meets the beautiful Ms. Grace...he doesnt have to be "im gonna kill everyone this night" kind of guy. That would take away all of his 3 dimensional built he has had in the trilogy. He could even be the mayor's friend, or be considered a high-society person...
i can even picture he looking at those rich people acting all fake and displaying charity, as he says something like "And Hypocrisy reaches its apogee...You give me nauseas." to which Mystique replies "Dont they?"...

i think Rebecca could play herself a bit younger, since he would meet her only in the end, thus he would be a lil older.

so yes, i think she would already hate the humans, imo she would be an agent, or a professional assassin...all she needed was a partner who thought alike her.
