name that game.

i've been trying to find out what the hell this game is for so long, it's silly. it was my dad's favorite game, and i'd love to find it and give him the rom for father's day.

in the SNES (or maybe Genesis) game, you played as a monkey, and you got different hats and helmets, and you made bubbles or balls or something and bounced on them... it was a platformer, and i remember it being awesome.

any help is appreciated.
