I just feel so-so about Heigel....but I'm a big fan of Remar and Woodard....so I'll probably give it a try.

Trailer didn't look too bad - will give this one a shot.

All the Presidents men must feel great after that trailer. :lmao:

Eh, it looks ok, the inner workings of the White House and political conspiracies are up my street but I don't like Heigl as an actress.

so State of Affairs was trending but seemed for all the wrong reasons

.

yeah I dont see this lasting

I hope it's a success just so I can laugh at all of her over the top haters.

NBC's answer to Scandal probably. I'm on the fence with this one only because Katherine Heigel is in it. She'll be the death of this show if its good because that diva attitude will return and she'll be fired replaced by Lea Thompson or somebody, lol. If its bad, well, it'll be because of Katherine Heigel.

She isn't THAT bad, but give her bad material she wont be afraid to say you did.

Though I am wondering what the hell NBC was thinking having this premier so late in the year!? They might as well have just waited for mid season next year to show it.

Since when was she a credible judge of what is and isn't good material? She's disliked for her crappy attitude from most accounts, it's why studios aren't falling over themselves to cast her in movies.

When you have her have sex with a ghost, I think we all know that isn't good material. Her whole hate on Knocked Up was stupid and the way she ended her time on Greys wasn't great but a lot of people keep focus on her withdrawing from the emmys or whatever.

But if people can get over Charlie Sheen and keep giving him work, they shouldn't care that much about Heigl.

I'm talking about her judgment in general, not some specific incident, she seems to think way too highly of her limited talent and has the kind of attitude that poisons sets.

I have no idea why people keep giving Sheen chances, I never thought he was a good actor and now he's just a pathetic cliche of a rich kid who has never had to work for anything, but I guess some are entertained by his insanity and like to laugh at him.

Went into the episode knowing nothing more than heigl was in it...

Not bad, not sure if it can keep me interested, but I'll check out a couple more episodes before I make my mind up.

Is this show worth watching? I saw the trailer and it felt like it showed the entire episode in it so I knew what was going to happen already, and it feels much like these other shows that are similar (Homeland, Scandal, the Blacklist etc).

I don't know if I'd be interested enough to watch Katherine Heigl.

The pilot started out rough. Heigl's character is brash, dismissive, and dare I say, a bit of a raging ho-bag.

It does get better as it goes along, yeah, it definitely leans more on the Homeland side of things. The Blacklist is very much "in the field" and action-y, where as State of Affairs plays more from the analysts' perspective. This show tries to exist more in the real world as opposed to The Blacklist.

I think I'll stick with it for now. I'm more than willing to give Heigl a second chance. If this don't work out, it may be back to non-speaking roles in ZQuill commercials!

Cancelled (given the activity in this thread its not like anyone would care)

I'm not surprised. I stopped watching after the pilot. And it ought to be cancelled, but I'm surprised it lasted this long.

good... another nail and hopefully, the final nail in the 'career' of Katherine Heigl...
