NCAA '08/ Madden '08 wishlist

My list of improvements to these two great franchises.

NCAA:
- In previous NCAA games it's cool how when the home team is getting blown out the fans leave and you can see empty seats. In NCAA 2007 the seats are the color of the team while before they were grey for everyone. I think they should either go back to grey or do some research about each teams stadium. It really bothered me because the Rose Bowl has light pink seats on the sides and grey bleachers behind the endzones. Not blue all around.

- A cool adition would be stadium add ons. Sometimes I like to take a small school and build them to a ntaional power. I think it would be great if, as I continue winning, I can add to the stadium. Add more seats, better facilities, ect... I bring this up because say I'm in control of San Jose State and I become a power house. Well, all the games will be sold out but the stadium holds only like 12,000. I think that if I become a power I should get to expand and make Spartan Stadium an intimidating place to play.

- They should have a cheat code where both teams can where the home uniforms.

- After a big upset, the crowd should rush the field and tear down the goal posts. I heard they wanted to add this but the NCAA said no.

- They should let each school record their own fight song. The arrangements of some of the fight songs bugs me. It sounds like they were all recorded in doors.

- They need to do better research to traditions of respective schools. Generic cheerleader outfits, some schools don't even have female cheerleaders.

Seriously, they should put one person in charge of becoming an expert on tradition for each conference. I would gladly take the PAC-10.

- For game play; go back to the way it was in '06. The score on the top in '07 is just rediculous. It made the game a pain in the ass to get used to.

- The matrix style slow down should ONLY be used for impact players.


Madden:

- When I change a team's uniform, the logo should still be there. I know there is a licensing rule or whatever. But come one, it's just a game.

- more options for stadium changes. Every custom stadium looks super generic.

- Basically the same issues with NCAA when it comes to game play.

- Fix the bugs.


So yeah, what do you guys have on your wishlist.

I dont get that much coverage of college football so I dont wouldnt really wantto get ncaa, I was somehow disapointed in the new madden. I mean Larry Johnson was forced to retire cause of an injury in my 2nd yr .

I don't play NCAA so...

Madden-

-Making a custom playbook is pointless. (though I haven't tried it on '07 yet) You can't make play-actions, you can't have running plays to WRs, etc etc. Needs tweaking.

- Hail Mary. Why have the Hail Mary play if it doesn't play like one? The D will all converge on the ball, but it's 7 backs against 1 WR. The others should come over.

- Subs. Back in the day, if I wanted, I could put Deion Sanders at WR, or Warren Sapp at QB. I miss that. (not sure if I've tried that on '07)

-Superstar mode. I know it's new, but it needs alot of tweaking. Some of the camera angles are terrible. Also, the cpu calls lousy plays.

I think for NCAA, they should bring back college classics. I liked it when they firt intorduced it, then when they had them in the game, they had the exact same one. There have been lots of games that are classics, like USC-ND last year with the Bush push, The Rose Bowl, this years MSU-ND comeback win. So there are lots of games they can include this year.

Good idea. There were a lot of good games this year.

USC/Notre Dame: USC's final drive
Texas/USC: Texas has to hold USC and then score
ND/MSU: You take control of ND and make the comeback happen.
UCLA/ND: You are ND and have to score with 1 minute left
USC/UCLA: You control UCLA and make the defensive stand to beat USC.
Oregon State/ Missouri: Control Oregon State and score before time runs out.

There are probably more great games from '06. I think Texas A&M was in a good one but I forgot who it was against..

I've been wanting them to put back in the option to have a playoff postseason.

Ditto on the college classics. Those were pretty fun.

Oh, I loved teh tournament mode on NCAA '00.

They should have a "create your own play off system."

Or a mode where you can be a student in the student section and your goals are to:
-Pump up the crowd.
- Get chicks.
