need a new printer

I'm thinking of getting a new printer, though i don't know which. It'll mostly be to print photos and the occasional full colour illustration/graphic.

I've used epson mostly in the past so i'm quite comfortable with them currently using an sx200, but my main factors are the cost of the printer i'm looking for a max £80 - £90 and the cost of the inks


anyone any ideas or recommendations

personally i always buy HP's and i avoid Kodak's, but that's just me

i got a Epson workforce 610 for about $80 (i dunno how much is it in £) its really amazing, it has it all Scan, Print, Fax, you name it. it is also wifi enabled and has a SD card slot

the problem i've noticed is no matter what one you look at it's always roughly 50/50 on reviews

Canon and HP make the highest rated printers. I personally like HP printers. Dell printers are just Lexmark printers rebranded.

i avoid dell printers and disuade people from them because they want you to only purchase ink and supplies through dell, and they have ridiculous prices

my Espon printer is working fine, i had it for 3 months and theres no issues i had with it, just keep feeding it paper

are you looking for a basic 8.5x11 inch printer or an 11x17? i know you're an artist and i had meant to ask before

I was a long time Lexmark printer user but the $$$ for replacement ink was too much. i got a HP Deskjet 2480 i got at wal mart for 50 bucks and ink is like 10-15 bucks less than Lexmark .

are you looking for a basic 8.5x11 inch printer or an 11x17? i know you're an artist and i had meant to ask before

at the moment just a standard A4 i'd love a decent A3 but i couldn't justify the cost or the space at the mo
