Negative Zone - Annihilius

I think the Negative Zone might be a good angle. It would allow Reed to showcase his research skills and also allow the FF to get into an exploratory mode by visiting the place. They could maybe get caught between a battle between Blastaar and Annihilius.

I'm not saying this is the only option available, but one for possible consideration.

I would love that, and they could even pull from the UFF version, and it wouldn't bother me........that was actually a really cool arc.

I agree with you. The FF have fought to many great villians to regress to the moleman or puppetmaster in ff3. The negative zone is a good story and so would be the microverse with psychoman.

In the UFF they actually get their powers from the negative zone. But also other characters like Moleman are from the negative zone.

So I was thinking when I was walking home today about the how they could introduce the negative zone. Remember when the missile went into the surfer's board? Maybe the surfer's board could be a portal to the negative zone and we could find out the portal to the negative zone through when the ran tests!

Nope. I don't see the Negative Zone working on film. Sure, it works in the comics. However, how would it work in film and not look like silly bluescreen stuff.

Don't get me wrong. Annihilus would be awesome and very frightening. I just don't see the Negative Zone itself as being feasible without becoming goofy.

I can see it being feesible. Also I posted a thread about how to introduce it but I will post it here. In the scene where Surfer takes on all the missiles one goes into his board what if the surfer's board sends things into the negative zone and while the board was in the gov. hands they figured this out.

That's an interesting idea.

This may be a bit much for one film (particularly if they cut it down to 90 minutes ), but I'd love to see Galactus come to Earth to deal with the Surfer and finish his meal.

Meanwhile Sue is pregnant and about to give birth to Franklin. I'd play up the contrast between Franklin (life) and Galactus (death), Reed, Ben and Johnny go into the negative zone, battle Annihilus, use the Cosmic control rod to save Franklin, and then the Cosmic Control Rod and/or Franklin take the place of the Ultimate Nullifier to defeat Galactus.

I think it would be really cool if Franklin was able to defeat Galactus . . . but that would probably be a stretch - particularly since Franklin would be a newborn.

 

[The Villain]

Annihilius on his own would be enough for me and maybe a side story with Puppet Master or Mole Man.

The only other badguy that may be okay to use would be Wizard but again I would like to see him as a solo villain.
