Last night, at my bar, I gave free beer to anyone with a military ID all night.

Never let it be said that Matt hates America (Lazur, Manthing, Jonty I'm looking in your direction).

But seriously, how did you celebrate the forth? Just fire workers, or did you go the extra mile?

Sorry. *goes back to my 'Troops Kill Babies' sign and starts protesting*

Not radical enough.

You need to burn an American flag at a soldiers funeral while wearing a che guevara shirt to redeem yourself.

I never said you weren't patriotic. There are people who have repeated affairs who are really committed to marriage.

Fireworks are illegal here in Georgia (not that it really stops too many people) so I just had a cookout with some friends.

why would you buy drinks for every idiot in the bar? I don't get it

I laugh that every person that matt bought a drink for ended up been Canadian.

I just watched the some of my city's fireworks.
They were nice.

It's easy to say that when it's not going to happen.

Wait, Matt, do you own a bar/are a bartender, or did you just buy the beer?

My neighborhood had a bit of a cookout, and we were fooling around with fireworks for a while. I also had "America" by Neil Diamond on a constant loop all day.

I went to a friend's cookout and had fun, drinking IBC Creme Soda (hey, no drinkers in this crowd). We then went down to the local river and watched fireworks. It's the first time I've been since I was about 9. It was my daughter's first fireworks ever (she's 2) and she loved it. I'm not much on them myself, but seeing her reaction was well worth the time.

I donated blood... to Canadians. That's the best I could do this year, but I don't come from a Fourth of July family anyway. We never did anything.
