What does everyone think of the new Ant-man series? how many of you are really liking it?

what a shame. it didn't even really begin until issue #4. you should never drop something during an origin story. origin stories won't tell you what the tone of the series is, imo. it's like trying to judge Captain America by those few panels of a skinny kid drinking a super soldier serum.

Most of the time I drop things after the first arc but the art makes me sick and the character is too much of a jerk even for my taste. Yes I know Robert is writing him that way.

yeah, but it doesn't bother me. it's up to the mods to merge it.

that's somewhat hypocritical. on one hand, you have a cyborg/robot/whatever who thinks it's perfectly ok to only help out when there's money to be gained. on the other, you have a guy who doesn't expect anything in return from his heroing but will take whatever's offered (& only did that once). you can't stomach Eric but you like a murderous bounty-hunting robot.

That's the only problem I got with the book it's art.

It made me want to drop the book also, but I'm holding out for another artist and I'll be a permanent reader.

i, personally, love Phil Hester's art but who would you want drawing this title? like, who are some of your favorite artists? i hope they have the work ethic to draw all of those tiny panels.

they weren't put on Irredeemable Ant-Man. it was Kirkman's idea. this is their talent.

I want Ant-man to continue, hell I'm buying it even though I hate a huge element of the book, Hester and Parks' art.
