New Avengers or Mighty Avengers?

Mighty Avengers. The roster is better and overall it feels more like an Avengers book which New Avengers completely lacks.

I don't read either, but based on membership and art I'd go with the New Avengers. Iron Man's a dick so I have no interest in reading about him, Ms. Marvel's an obnoxious ***** so I have no interest in reading about her, and Yu beats Cho any day of the week, including imaginary eighth days.

I'd say NA. Its just a more enjoyable book and I prefer the roster.

Mighty Avengers over New Avengers.

Mighty Avengers actually seems like its going to be featuring a lot Heroes vs. Villains action.

I'll gladly take that over New Avenger's Heroes vs. Ninjas/Heroes motif.

I prefer when people don't make 6726428746 threads about the same topic...:o

I can't stand the Mighty Avengers I'm going to buy it just to see them fail. Iron man and Ms. Marvel are too into themselves. The New Avengers just seem more of a team. more human, more enjoyable to read. Plus how can Ms. marvel be leading the team. The Wasp is a better leader then her.

Hmm difficult neither what I'd call great books.

I'd have to say NA at the moment.

I prefer the New Avengers team, even if it isn't much of an Avengers team. They're just the more likable characters. Bendis also has a much better handle on them than he has on the Mighty Avengers.

I like NA waaaay better than MA.

MA more. I like the makeup of the team moreso than NA's street level characters. Also, the book seems to be going in an unique direction.

NA because despite the fact that MA actually feels like an Avengers roster and actually is a credible threat, I cant honestly say I like more than two characters on the roster.

While I still like Iron Man, he's not much a hero these days. Tony said that he wanted to build the greatest Avengers roster ever.... well, this sure as hell isnt that. Everyone has the same powers but Wasp and Widow, making them incredibly out of place. In addition, few have much a personality, regardless who's writing them. Thank God for Ares.

New Avengers has the same problem. Not alot of unique abilities on the team and the majority of the team are guys I couldnt care less about. But the fact that Spidey and Dr.Strange are on the team takes it for me. Like people have said before, they maybe a weak team (honestly, Spidey is the strongest character they have... how lame is that), but they are far more likeable.

Luke Cage is stronger than Spider-Man. Dr. Strange is pretty powerful too, although he doesn't seem to be doing much of anything, so I guess he's negligible.

Spidey's a hell of a lot stronger than the official 10 tons. Remember when he lifted that big slab of metal off his back in the Master Planner story?

Regardless, Luke Cage is still stronger. Bendis loves Luke Cage. You really think he's gonna make Cage--whose only powers are super-strength and "bulletproof skin, sucka!"--weaker than Spider-Man, whose main thing isn't even strength?

MA.

It has Sentry and Ares as wildcard powerhouses with uncharted powers. Iron Man arguably is the most useful team member with a brain that exceeds the brainiest hero in NA (Spider-Man), artificial strength that also greater than any in the NA can amass, and 24-hours internet inside his head. Wonder Man and Ms. Marvel are no slouch either. The only one that I don't like is the Black Widow. Is she like a female Punisher or something?

NA has too many ninjas and street level brawlers. The only one that stands out is Spider-Man (the brain), and Dr.Strange (uber-powered coming to the rescue). Their opponents for the time being are weak. Ultron beats Elektra & Ninjas Co. all the time.

Well, seeing that I have absolutely NO INTEREST in the characters involved with the Mighty Avengers and won't be buying that book....I'm down with the New Avengers.

I was definitely stoked beyond belief when I found out that Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Doctor Strange were all going to be on the same team. Now if only Captain America would heal up, and no he's not dead people, so he can get on that team.

Though I still don't really see what the point of having Wolverine there is, or even Spider-Woman for that matter. Why can't that **** just go work for SHIELD and stop screwing things up?

But yeah, New Avengers has the more interesting team, to me at least, and the better artist on the book. Damnit.

New Avengers, Like the characters, dislike the artwork. Mighty Avengers, don't care about most of the characters, love the artwork.

Both. Each book offers something different and are both enjoyable IMHO. MA offers big ass battles with villains that actually matter. NA has a better team dynamic.

Huh. Sounds like if you combined the two you'd have something almost as good as the classic Avengers.
