Hell yes.
I nearly stood up and screamed **** YES after he flipped the semi and did that badass spinning turn thing on the wall.
Yeah, I think it's really awesome. Here's a bigger, side view of the car. Although I think it's a concept for 2016!
While I do love The Tumbler, I still think the Burton-mobile is the best we've seen.
For all of you guys who think the Burton-mobile can't make sharp turns, just watch Returns. The Batmobile did it a lot of times. Just skip to about 1:15 and see one example from that video.

It's not about driving it ourselves - while that would obviously rock. It's that density of reality when you realize that this is a real thing, it exists, and can do incredible stuff. Batman feels that much more believable and engaging.
Have to admit that as cool as that Lambo is [as is], I'd still like to see a little signature motif to give it the old 'Batmobile' touch.
Now, I'm not talking anything outrageous like we've seen in extremes in the past, just a couple of understated (well, understated compared to some versions) fins. Apolgoies for the crudeness - had to use MS Paint :-

Mazzucchelli says it better and more succinctly than I can, "The more realistic superheroes become, the less believable they are."
Nathan Crowley said it. It's probably expanded in more interviews, but he does refrence it here:

"In order to give Batman the ability to maneuver under low clearances, the Bat-Pod can physically lower and elongate itself. On set, the front forks extended and the chassis hugged the ground, positioning Goy parallel to the ground--and that's before pulling a 360. "The saddle is free to rotate," Crowley says. "It allows you to do all kinds of odd movement within the frame of the bike."
The Dark Knight took place during the fall. If it's true that Nolan is getting shots right now of scenery with snow in it, then that could mean that The Dark Knight Rises takes place within months, weeks, or even days of when The Dark Knight ended. If that's the case, then I think there's a good chance that we won't get a new batmobile at all. Bats will just stick with the Batpod throughout the film.
That being said, the Lamborghini Ankonian looks exactly how a batmobile should look. That thing is gorgeous.
Yeah, it had a weird "stop motion" look to the shot. I don't know exactly what it was, but it looked fake as hell to me.Eh, that doesn't actually confirm that the 360 wall turn is actually a practical effect shot. It doesn't even look like it. It has that odd CG quality to it.
Unless there is a 'spare' Tumbler as Fox alluded to...
