Okay, I had to make a new thread to include a poll, sorry. Just pick you're choice for who should be the next Bond composer and if you want someone not listed, just explain in a post. Again sorry for the confusion with the previous thread I started.

I voted for "someone else" because I want David Holmes or John Powell to tackle a Bond score. Don Davis could also be very good.

i voted for Michael Giacchino... been a fan of his work for a few years now... he's just the one person i can think of who would be able to capture the spirit of John Barry's work while still coming up with some original work...

If Hans Zimmer ever, EVER came near Bond I'd cry

What is wrong with Arnold? I think he's pretty good.

I like Arnold too. He's probably the closest thing we've gotten to John Barry. HOWEVER, his biggest flaw is that he isn't as talented as Barry. Actually...he is NO WHERE NEAR as talented John Barry. But he has a Barry style and that's good enough. It's better than that Eric Serra guy who composed GoldenEye.

I remember Patrick Doyle's score for Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, which practically had music throughout the entire movie and I think he'd be a good composer for Bond.

Yeah, Patrick Doyles score for Frankenstein was a decent one but I'd go for someone who isnt on the list..........................'Cypher's Michael Andrews.

But Arnold isn't going anywhere

I just want the ol' Bond theme back. They had it at th end of CR so it prolly will be back.

Harry Gregson-Williams. 'nuff said, close thread.
