The offical X Box 360 UK mag had a much more in depth look at Clive Barker's horror title Jericho.

Turns out this is Barker's first true horror game, as apparently he was only brought on board Undying at mostly the last minute as name value, whereas he was directly involved in every element of this game.

There is a city that appears every 500 years which contains the oldest evil in history at it's center, with a twisted, dark layer of history in each level, the closer you get to the middle. But unlike initial reports, this city isn't called Jericho, it's called Al Khali and has just reappeared in africa.

Al Khali, being like a floating silent hill, has trapped all those in the past who tried to investigate the city inside and over the centuries mutated them into horrific, evil creatures. These include soldiers from both world wars, templar knights and even child templar knights that were rumoured to exist.

Now the Government has a specialist supernatural military team called Jericho it wants to send in (it's described in the article as a ''military version of the x files). you can play as all of the four. One is a telepath who dies early and hops between the bodies of his team, one is a telekinetic sniper who can guide her bullets , one shoots her own blood which freezes and turns into spikes and the last is a seer who can see the path ahead with no physical danger (and you can combine their powers).

It's sounding incredibly sweet.

I remember seeing screenshots of this game a couple months ago. And that setting is sounding incredibly sweet.

Plus it's Clive ****ing Barker!

I'm sold.

Sounds cool. There some many games coming out for the 360 that I want....

I'm sold. Clive Barker rocks and the characters sound so incredibly badass!

Hopefully they pull off the body switching as well as Geist...well, at LEAST that well...

Hopefully it's as unlike Geist as possible.

Is this my new game to ****e? :D

I am really interested in this game, I've always wanted to know what the heck it was about but there hasn't been too much information on it. I'm glad I found this thread, thanks Horrorfan :D
