The Dark Knight New Dialogue on Radio Commercials?

Hey, I'm not sure if this was already mentioned, so if it already has been, please delete, mods.


I was in the car scrolling through New York radio stations and Z100 had audio trailers of TDK.


I'd never heard this dialogue before from the Joker, but from rough memory, this is what he said:

"I'm a man of very simple taste: I love dynamites (sounds of bombs in the background), gunpowder (guns roaring in the background), and gasoline (Dent screaming)."

And then audio of Joker at the party scene with him saying:

"I have one small question: Where is Harvey Dent?" (this was already in the Swedish trailer)

And then Harvey Dent says something along the lines of:

"We are doing whatever it takes to take care of the Joker, and we are doing what we can."

The Harvey Dent line is new to me.

Yeah, I just saw the new TV spots just now.


The Harvey Dent line, though not explicitly what he said, is still new to me. But trust me that it's what he says, well, something along the lines of that.

I've heard radio spots for many movies.. but not the Dark Knight yet.. what are they like?? Usually the ones I hear an annoying annoucer talks over the soundeffects and you hear SOME dialogue from the movie

I've heard a couple so far.

One while I was in my car and the other was today outside. I was out in front of my house and the neighbors across the street were working on a car and they had the radio blasting and it had a spot for TDK.

From what I can remember, the dialogue was pretty much what we've heard from the TV spots.

I heard it again today and the Joker has another line, which he says after Batman says "You wanted me. Here I am."


Joker: You made it! I'm SOOO thrilled!

NOTICE: He said it in a very sarcastic tone, which had me laughing for quite a bit.


The 'You made it!' was very ecstatic and excited, whereas the 'I'm SOOO thrilled!' line was very sarcastic, witty, and yet very hilarious.

The radio spots are great. The one being discussed here is actually about a minute long, which is long for a radio commcercial.

Whoa look it's a bunch of people who added just as much as me and yet you single me out... with a post that is completely irrelevant to the topic at hand... at least mine, nefti, patty, and Symbiotic's were about wanting to hear the radio spots...
