Yeah, its nice what an extra year or development can do.

I owned with Bernard Hopkins BTW

They just gave everyone abs. In the 360 version people didn't have abs because they didn't in real life.

There is a difference, but it's not THAT big. Playing that on my 720p screen, it looked little worse than that.

What is tangible, again?

It can be seen, touched, measured.

So, there's a 'measurable' difference, but it's basically so insignificant that it really doesn't matter anyways. Kit'd have my back on this one, he was playing you on my HDTV a while back as well.

This makes me almost believe that that cheap Tekken 6 CG trailer might almost be doable in realtime.

They look the same

Yeah, he was kicking my ass :cmad:

I don't see a difference

The differences are minimal.

More wrinkles on the gloves (for what purpose, I have no idea), and more sweat beads on their bodies. Also, the abs are more defined, though I really doubt that most boxers have 6-pack abs. :o

So basically, a lot of frivilous touch-ups that really don't add anything visually.

They're more detailed all around people who can't see the difference are lying to themselves. That being said it's not huge. Though you can also see the impact physics at work which were absent from the 360 version.

FYI: The PS3 version didn't start development proper at the same time as the 360 version.

nice screens... definately an improvement, even if it is just a small one. is there anything extra in this version gameplay wise that wasn't on the 360 version?

Updated Roster (to be expected) apparently some extra arenas, a first person boxing mode.

nice... i might have to trade in the 360 version for the ps3 one. fight night has always been one of my favorite games, and round 3 is just... awesome-ness.

The differences are just visual touch-ups. There is no difference in the clarity or amount of detail in the images, there are just extra bits that have been tacked on. Believe me, I have a HDTV and have seen the game/played the game on it. The difference is minimal and more or less frivilous. :o

And what impact physics that weren't in the 360 version? What are you talking about? Blood and sweat sprayed and the face showed impressions where the blow landed in the 360 version as well.

I'm seeing a fairly decent upgrade here. Loved it on my 360, but the PS3 version makes me want to blow 600 on a new system.

Any reason why the light is over-saturated in the picture, as well as the fact that picture is blurry?

I'll post a better picture when Kit gets home with FNR3. :o

I beat you until there wasn't anything left to beat then I danced all over what was left. :o

I can't really remember. The PS3 version just looks like it just has little added touches. Though nothing really significant.

I have to say though, the picture just posted must be on a SDTV, with really high brightness settings and a blurry camera. That looks nothing like it looked when Kit was kicking the **** out of you. :o

That Gamespot image was probably a SDTV version.

I'm guessing the SDTV equivalent of FNR3 will look the same for PS3 as well.

Based on those photos, not much of a of a real difference. They both look fantastic.
