It looks amazing, and now we have a little clue as to what the story of FFXIII will be about.

It looks to me that it will play like Kingdom Hearts because of the amount of Enemies the blue haired kid (BHK, LOL!!!) had to face.

Meh, I'm not particular sold as of yet.

The trailer was painfully slow to begin with, and the scene it finished on wasn't quite exciting enough to make up for it.

That said, I did like the general design.

I understood perfectly. I'm only wondering why Square-Enix is planning to release two FFXIII games for the PS3. I can understand other spin-off games for mobile phones, handhelds, etc. Or if it were a Sequel like FFX-2 & Dirge of cerberus, but two games for the PS3 right at the beginning?

I really wish they would announce a sequel to Chrono Cross. That was the first RPG I had ever played and it's why I like them.

honestly I didn't know Valkyrie Profile and Grandia were from Square. what's SO3 btw?

I also think its overkill to be working on 2 FF games for the PS3 at the moment but you knwo people will buy both. My concern is though that I hope they space out the release of these games bc FF games take a while to complete. I cant imagine buying and playing both at the same time

Oh I forgot to add that FFXIII is supposedly more of the traditional gameplay you'd expect from a FF game and VS XIII will be more of an action RPG like Kingdom Hearts since its being developd by the team who worked on that series

Cause they're not sequels. Theres only a few sequels in the FF universe. The rest are just differnt games in different worlds. They could just change the names to all of them to various different names, but the name "Final Fantasy" pretty much automatically gets them people to buy it.

Hell, they could of called FFXIII Chrono Cross II and no one would know a difference.

While I agree that I would absoutely love for another Chrono or Vagrant Story game, I did find it funny that you said they should stop making Final Fantasy games and do something new...like make sequels.
