New Footage!!!

I knew it'd be awesome...and now it's confirmed. IT'S AWESOME. And the lips actually don't bother me. All though I heard in his battle mode he has a face plate...hmmmmmm

 

I looooooooooove the shots of Prime's fists coming out during transformation (very similar to the ORIGINAL design in that respect ) and Blackout's blades folding...

 

I actually hated the fact transformers looked human in the G1 series. I always felt they needed to be a bit more alien since they are...well...alien

 

If they keep the lips, I will hate this movie, no matter how cool the action is.

My favourite two shots were Barricade menacing Sam and the awesome transforming shot of Blackout

I'd have preferred Prime to keep the guard up but i get the battle mode idea and the mouth looked fine IMO

The lips look a little weird, but I think it will make it look all the more badass when his faceplate is up...When you see that thing come up, you know the S*** is going to hit the fan!!! It will be some nice moments...There aren't a ton of shots in this movie with Optimus where he is not in the heat of battle.

Blackouts blades coming down looked amazing.

 

His voice sounds perfect! While I'm still not a fan of the mouth, it doesn't look as bad as I imagined.

YES! that's an awesome way to look at it. It really does give the faceplate a whole heck of a lot more meaning. "Uh oh! You sucka's better run! His faceplates up!"

I'm not easily swayed by one quick glimpse, but man those lips looks like ****.

The entire spot I thought was great, except for that. With the lips down there the face is horribly out of proportion (1:1.618 folks!) and too cartoonish. I thought his face looked like one of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' robots from their first movie...

"My name is Optimus Prime" line delivered by Cullen, as was previously reported, is a lot deeper that i remember his voice sounding, i'm sad to say..it sucks! Primes mouth, as i feared, is terrible.....i just didn't think it would be that terrible.

j/m...i see what you're saying, i thought the same thing but i try to keep in mind that this is just a movie.

 

It's probably an attempt by Prime to be friendly and not seem to be talking down or over Sam,kinda like adults do with little kids
