I love Ed as much as anyone, but I was pretty underwhelmed by this one. It doesn't really stand out against anthing Coipel's done so far, other than the fact that it's in Ed's style.

I like it because it's a deviation of sorts of his cartoony style.

It is. But Ed's cartoony style is too good to deviate from. I just don't think it looks much different from Coipel's work.

I disagree. The CW #3 cover was more dynamic. And the classic costume wins out everytime.

That's definitely a departure from what the interiors have been looking like. Either way, I like both his styles.

Yeah, I like this and his recent Fallen Son art way more than most of the other stuff I've seen by him.

Winter Soldier versus Crossbones - the man who sniped Cap! Winter Soldier versus S.H.I.E.L.D. and Tony Stark's hand-picked Mighty Avengers operative! Winter Soldier versus the Red Skull! And finally - the Winter Soldier versus himself!

Certainly an action-packed issue, from the looks of it.

World War Hulk #2 previews:

What's with She-Hulk's white gloves? I've never seen those before. Not a particularly good showing from Ares. Cool to see the Fantastic Six working as a team.

Anyone else think Mj might be a skrull. That way Joe Q can get rid of her like he plans without hurting the real Mj.

I don't know, I'm guessing the big event this all leads to is the heroes figuring out what the hell is going on with the Skrulls and going off to space to rescue what we would assume are the real people alive somewhere I guess.

I also wonder, what other villains might be Skrulls. I mean, it's possible right that Norman Osborn is a Skrull and Gwen Stacy ****ed a Skrull.

After thinking about it. I sort of like this skrull thing that marvel has going on. They can just blame a skrull on everything. Cap dead=Skrull, Gwen Stacy doing Norman=Skrull, Iron man being douce bag=iron man being douce bag. No skrull can change that. But really marvel now has its own superboy punch. Good job bendis now you can do whatever you want and blame it on skrulls.
