I figured it was true, despite the PS3 being a rather ordinary piece of hardware, capability-wise. Factor 5 supposedly switched over due to the system's power. Wahahahaha.

That first, large shot, looks absolutely terrible. Not next-gen at all.

Well, the gameplay video started with "real time graphics" before anything was even shown, so that was an official lie.

But, this is a Sony published game, so what can you expect? They did the same with The Getaway, GranTurismo 4, etc.

I think it was running on a PC with SLI 7800s.

Once the RSX thing got moving we saw the downgrade. I can't believe how bad this looks. Panzer Dragoon Orta blows this away.

Yeah, the people in this forum do that a lot. Even if the game looks like a cheap Doom3 mod....

And yeah, people are misunderstanding "under development", and it's kind of funny and sad at the same time. If the last time we saw your game was at E3 in May 2006, and you aren't releasing until sometime in 2007...then yeah, "under development" works. If we see your game in September, and it's coming out in November....the graphics are finished. Stop dreaming.

I just can't get over those two floating rocks in the background. What the heck is that sprite connecting them?

And the foremost dragon appears to be laughing at how bad his own graphics are.

Just so we're clear, that's from a way old build of the game. Like relatively ancient. The first shot was seen in EGM over 3 months ago.
